I let her take over, and she began to bounce up and down. “You need to come,” I repeated.

“Yes,” she cried, beginning to shake.

“Do you want my permission?” I whispered, pressing a kiss to her ear.

Lola choked on a strangled cry, barely managing to nod. I’d have to work on that with her. For now, I wanted nothing more than to follow her release.

“You may come,” I said quietly. “But you have to tell me what you need me to do.”

Her body arched violently away from me, but I held her tightly, meeting her rhythm with my own. “Fuck me, Anders. Please fuck me.”

I was more than happy to oblige, arching my hips to thrust into her deeper. She began to shake, and I allowed myself to join her. I poured inside her longer than I had in years. Lola screamed one last time and went limp in my arms save for a few trembling aftershocks. I held her against me, waiting for her body to completely relax. I wanted her to enjoy this, even if I was already winding myself up for another round.

“That was…” she started but fell silent.

“Incredible?” I offered.

Lola twisted her head around to look at me. “I think there are better words for it than that.”

“Such as?” I prompted, unable to keep a cocky grin off my face. I agreed with her, but considering how tightly Lola usually held to her rules, I hadn’t expected her to be so willing to admit it.

“Can I get back to you after next time?” She licked her lower lip.

“Again?” I was already starting to get hard.

She nodded but then stopped. “Actually, bathroom first.”

I carefully disentangled her from me and stood to offer her my hand.

“Maybe this time you can crawl over and find a condom,” she said saucily as she sauntered toward the attached bath.

“Rule number 5,” I reminded her, earning a giggle.

“Fine, Your Highness.” She snatched her bag on the way into the loo and shut the door behind her.

I threw myself in the bed and waited. Floor sex was excellent, but now I wanted to shag her in a bed. I started to tell her this when she came out of the door a few minutes later.

“I think it’s time….” I fell silent as she lifted a panic-stricken face, and I saw what was in her hands. Rule number 6 would have to be no cell phones, but judging from the look on her face, we could establish that later. “What’s wrong?”

She looked right at me, and it was clear that playtime was over. “We need to go to London.”

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

LOLA

The only mercy the night showed me was that the paparazzi were gone when we left the Whidbury. Had I just shagged Anders? Yep. Was the debauchery interrupted by mother calling? Also yes.

There was nothing like doing the walk of shame straight to a family crisis. Anders stayed quiet as we headed toward London. He hadn’t said much when I’d announced that my sister was in the hospital. He hadn’t argued when I’d told him we needed to stop and pack a bag in case we got stuck in the city. I strongly doubted that he’d suddenly decided to start toeing the line.

I had a feeling he was a ticking bomb.

The one perk was that, thanks to his driving, we were making record time.

We passed a sign announcing that we were only 20 kilometers from our destination, and I sighed with relief.

“Is everything okay?” Anders asked in a quiet voice.

“I don’t know,” I admitted as I tapped the armrest. “She didn’t say much. Just that Clara was in the hospital already. She sounded worried. Apparently, Alexander isn’t letting anyone in to see Clara.”
