And God, was he good.
Her gasps and moans came quicker now. She allowed herself to give into the greedy demands of her body. Nothing was better than his undivided attention when she was naked.
He reached around to find the tender bud, massaging her clit with his fingers and encouraging her to “Come again, Honesty. Now.”
She had no choice but to obey, coming against his attentive fingers, the word “yes” rolling off her tongue again and again. She was lost in bliss—in ecstasy. She forgot where she was, but never who she was with.
“How does that feel?” he asked, showing no signs of slowing.
“So good. So, so good,” she answered with some effort as another wave hit her mercilessly.
“That’s my girl. That’s my good girl.”
And it was those words that shot her to the moon.
On a shout, she pulled her hand from her nipple and dropped it to the wall to hold herself up, or to keep from flying off the planet, she wasn’t sure which.
Her release rocked her entire body. Her legs, her knees, her everything shook. And when that powerful orgasm finally spiraled to an end, her arms lost almost all their strength.
She knew he was close, though, so she held herself up, wanting more than anything for him to claim his own prize. She used what remained of her waning strength to clench her inner muscles around his cock. That sealed his fate. He came inside of her, his hips pumping, his shouts of satisfaction coating her ear.
As his movements slowed, she enjoyed the buzz climbing her body. It was as if her every nerve ending was purring. She wanted to collapse to the floor in a heap—would have if he would’ve let her.
He scooped her up and carried her to the living room where he deposited her on the couch. He pulled off the T-shirt he hadn’t bothered removing and then collapsed next to her.
Which had taken some doing considering he was about a foot and a half longer than her couch.
He let out a sigh. “Best dessert ever.”
Her husky laugh came from the depths of her very soul—or maybe that was her G-spot, she thought with a smile. She was so satisfied, she couldn’t care less about making dessert. Or eating dinner.
Oh no! Dinner.
“The salmon is still in the oven. You’ll have to move so I can get it or take it out yourself.”
His words were somewhat muffled by her hair when he said, “I’ll do whatever you want me to do.”
Her smile faded. His promise was a dangerous one.
Given carte blanche to ask “whatever” of him, she wasn’t confident she wouldn’t ask for it all.
CHAPTER FIFTEEN
“Thanks for lunch, cuz,” Eli told Dante, who accepted the little black book.
“Yes, thank you, Dante.” Eli’s wife, Isabella, sat to his right, directly across from Honesty. Dante hadn’t thought about it until mid-meal, but their seating arrangement had made the meeting feel more like a double date.
“You can thank the Moretti Foundation.” Dante scribbled in the tip and signed his name.
“I thought you were the Moretti Foundation,” Honesty said with a smile.
He offered a noncommittal hum, but caught Isa jerking her attention from him to Honesty in a way that definitely made him feel as if he was on a double date.
Eli had loved the idea of partnering with Honesty’s charity. He’d been sold on the idea before their meals had arrived. Dante hadn’t been surprised. Being a Marine amputee had made Eli sensitive to the needs of other Marines and soldiers. After losing friends to the bomb that took his leg, he’d come home with a mission. According to Isa, Eli, and anyone else who knew him, nothing mattered more than that mission.
Even though Honesty had thanked Eli repeatedly for being willing to partner with her, she extended her gratitude once more.
“Thank Dante,” Eli told her. “He’s the one who thought to bring it to me. I’m glad he did.”
