“Okay, Elora, we'll do a test to confirm the pregnancy, then we can run some routine tests to make sure you're healthy.”

The next hour, I do multiple tests while Axe questions Dr Cindy about everything. I can tell he's losing his wits about this. I still haven't come to terms with it. When we get home I go to bed while Axe makes lunch for us. I grab my stomach. There's a knock at the door and then Dash comes in.

“Cash wants his mummy.” Dash puts him on the bed and he crawls over to me. I open my arms for him. “Are you okay, Elora?”

“Yeah.” I sigh.

“She's pregnant again.” Axe walks in with a tray of food.

“Shit, you don't waste any time, do you?” Dash exclaims, turning to Axe.

“Shut up, Dash. We're stressed,” Axe puffs.

“Isn't this good news?” Dash asks.

“Yes, he's just worried because of what happened last time,” I say.

“Well, just think, we'll all go through it together and our kids will be friends.” Dash smiles. “Ryleigh will be thrilled.”

I smile, imagining his words. Cash is sitting in front of me, playing with my fingers. Soon he will have a sibling sitting beside him.

“Thank you, Dash, for watching Cash. We're going to have family time together,” Axe says.

“No worries. Can I tell Ryleigh you're pregnant?” Dash asks.

“Yeah.”

Dash leaves and Axe joins me on the bed. He entertains Cash while I eat my food.

“One more and then we're done,” Axe says.

“I agree.”

“We should have stuck to anal,” Axe says quietly.

“Axe,” I scold. “Don't say that in front of Cash.”

“He doesn't know what it means.”

“Still,” I say. “I think we'll only be doing anal for the rest of our lives after this pregnancy,” I whisper.

Axe chuckles. “We really got to figure out birth control.”

“Or you get a vasectomy and we're done with it. Hopefully this one's a girl and our family is complete,” I say.

“If you want that...” Axe nods.

“You would really do it?” I ask, taken aback by his quick agreement.

“I would do anything to save you from going through that pain again. I love Cash but watching the pain you were in, it makes me not want to do it again.”

“We will be okay.” I grab his hand.

“I love you, Elora.” Axe leans over and kisses me. Cash makes a noise and throws his arm between us, which makes us laugh. “I love you too, Cash.”

Chapter Eighty-Six

It's been two months. Only two months and I'm blowing out like crazy. I understand each pregnancy is different but with Cash, it's like I was glowing. This pregnancy is making me huge. Ryleigh and I spend so much time together since we're both pregnant. One thing that's annoying me, I'm bigger than her and she's further along that I am. I have a scan today and I plan on asking Dr Cindy why my body is reacting like this.
