When I get home, Axe and Carson are in the living room spending time together. They both smile when I come in.

“Hi.” Axe comes over and kisses my cheek.

“Hi, can I talk to Carson alone?”

“Sure.” Axe looks surprised but he leaves the room.

I go over and sit next to Carson.

“How was your day?” she asks.

“Good, how about yours?”

I actually mean it. It was good. All day I've been thinking and I know what I want now.

“I was on the phone with my mate most of the day. He misses me,” Carson says.

“When are you going back?” I ask.

“In a couple days. Don't worry, we'll still talk all the time.” She smiles.

“I like having you here,” I confess, and her smile deepens. “But can you do me a favour?”

“Anything.” Her eyes widen with curiosity.

“Could you go somewhere for the night? I've decided I want to give myself to Axe,” I say, shy to admit it but sure of my words.

“Oh wow.” Her eyes sparkle as a great smile stretches on her face. “Are you sure you're ready?”

That's what I've been thinking about all day. Yes, I'm nervous to have sex for the first time. Yes, my bruises are still lightly visible. Yes, this is a grand leap for Axe and me. But after my talk with Joel today, I know truly that I only want Axe to have me. Being ready is a hard thing to be sure of, but I trust Axe and this encourages me to do this.

“Yes.” I smile.

“Do you love him?” she whispers.

“I…” I stammer for words. Do I?

“It's okay. You don't have to tell me,” she says soothingly.

“Do you have any advice?” I ask.

“Actually, we're going shopping and making this perfect for you. Candles and lingerie are a must. I will get Dash to keep Axe out of the house while we get the room ready. Let's go.” Carson pulls me up and we go to her car. Soon enough we're at a lingerie store, which she surges through. “Feeling sexy your first time definitely helps with being confident. What do you like?”

“Maybe more of a nightie, you know, the bruises,” I suggest.

“Oh right. I'll choose something sexy but comfortable.” Carson slides through the racks, briefly looking at each item.

We end up deciding on a cute light purple nightie. It covers my bruises but is a little bit revealing with the neckline, which is sexy. I get a matching pair of underwear. After that we go to a shop, where she fills the basket with scented candles. When we enter the chemist, she goes crazy and grabs condoms, lube, shavers, moisturiser, hair and body products and anything else she thinks I need.

When we get back to the house, Dash mind links her that he'll keep Axe out of the house. He doesn't know why he's keeping him occupied, which I'm glad about. I only want Carson knowing about tonight.

“Let's get you ready. First, go shower, shave, wash your hair and then put on a robe and I'll fancy you up,” Carson directs.

I go upstairs and do everything she said. Once my body is free from hair, I get in the shower. After my hair is shampooed and conditioned, I use a flowery body wash to clean my body. It takes a good hour until I'm done, considering I moisturise everything. I put on a robe and tell her I'm ready and she comes in and blow dries my hair, then styles it into loose waves. She puts a light layer of foundation on and some pink lip gloss.

“I already set the room up. Now put on your nightie and you're good to go.”

“Thank you for all of this.” I smile appreciatively.
