Gunnar: I’m not getting anywhere near his naked, tattoo-covered ass

Gunnar: Your beautiful behind on the other hand…

Gunnar: What I wouldn’t give for a handful of that right now

Gunnar: Now I’m thinking about all the things I could do to you in that tub

Gunnar: And just how badly I want to make you fall apart all over again

Gunnar: We might need to schedule a hands-on call this evening…

Gunnar: Felicity…

Gunnar: You there?

Gunnar: Did I lose you?

Felicity: Sorry, at Bunz

“I’m excited to watch the game. I think this is the first sports event I’ve ever wanted to watch,” Talia said. Felicity looked up at her, trying to focus on the conversation and not on the borderline naughty things Gunnar had just texted her.

“It’ll be fun to see your dad in action,” Heather said.

“Being the daughter of a professional athlete is still a little weird to wrap my head around, since I’m like the least sporty person ever. Liam has been attempting to explain the game to me, though, so I think I have some of the basics down now.”

“Liam Daley?” Felicity asked, surprised. It was the second time she’d mentioned his name in the last couple of minutes, and Felicity hadn’t realized she’d been hanging out with any of the players. “Something going on there?”

“Not like that. He and Gunnar are close, so he’s at the apartment a lot for dinner. He’s like another brother at this point.”

“Everything still going well between you and Gunnar?” Felicity asked, her phone vibrating again.

“Yeah,” Talia shrugged. “We’re figuring each other out. It’s awkward at times, but overall it’s been good.”

“I’m glad to hear that. It’ll take time, but you’ll find your rhythm,” Felicity said, turning back to her phone.

Gunnar: Bunz? I have some fond memories of that place… ;)

Felicity: Don’t you have a game to go play? Errr…coach?

Gunnar: I’d rather be playing with you

Felicity rolled her eyes, pressing her lips together, hoping that no one else noticed the blush that was creeping up her face. She liked this playful side of him, and she wished they had more time for this back and forth. But he had a job to do.

Felicity: Go win the game please

Gunnar: And what do I get if we win?

Felicity: other than keeping your job? Lol

Felicity: we can revisit that hands-on thing ;)

Gunnar: Then I have a game to go win…

Shaking her head, she slipped her phone into her purse, knowing that she wouldn’t be getting any more texts until the game was over. At least not from anyone she cared to talk to.

“What’s that smile for?” Heather asked, turning back to her.

“Nothing.”
