Cool air surrounds me as Brenna frees my cock. I close my eyes, soaking in the pleasure as she runs her palm teasingly over me, the anticipation of her mouth on me flooding my veins.

“Hey, Willa just—oh, for fuck’s sake!” Brandt screams.

Fuck!

Brenna and I separate, moving faster than Superman’s speeding bullet to opposite ends of the bathroom. I turn away from my best friend, tucking my quickly deflating self back into my pants.

What happens behind a locked bathroom door stays there, right?

Wrong.

Not that we locked the bathroom door this time. Hell, I didn’t even close it behind me. Mostly because we weren’t in that bathroom.

Two weeks in, we discovered our loft was kind of small. For two single guys who had lived together for twenty years, both of whom were barely home, it wasn’t the kind of thing you noticed. However, when you add in a live-in girlfriend, who also happens to be a little sister—or a little sister who is also a live-in girlfriend, depending on which one of us was looking at it—the place was getting a bit cramped.

And that locked bathroom door? Not quite the solution we’d thought it would be.

Much like right now.

“Brandt!” Brenna scolds.

“And here I thought I was done with this when you two moved out,” he mutters, shaking his head.

“Are you incapable of knocking?”

“Thought you two would be able to keep your hands off each other long enough that I wouldn’t have to. At least prior to your own housewarming party.”

Man has a point. To be fair, devouring each other wasn’t my intention when I walked into the bathroom. It had been to ask her if she was ready, since guests would be arriving any minute. And then I found her looking like sex walking. Pretty sure if she wasn’t his sister, Brandt would understand.

“Willa what?” I ask, trying to change the subject to something less awkward.

“Just got here.”

“Right.”

Clearing my throat, I nod, heading for the door. I give Brenna a wink, and she giggles, which earns the both of us an eye roll from my best friend. He makes some comment to Brenna about fixing her lipstick that I don’t fully hear, but I don’t need to in order to know it’s a brotherly jab and that in return she issued him a single finger salute.

“Wills, Nash,” I greet, walking into the living room of our new home. I laugh, taking in their Barbie and Ken costumes. Only Willa. Although the fact that Nash went along with it tells me a lot.

“Hi! The place looks perfect!”

I laugh. Because what other response is there? Especially when she’s right.

The small, two-bedroom cottage is modest at best, but is perfect as our first place. Close to the center of town, it’s well within walking distance to both Southern Brothers and Hickory Hills Drugs if we want. Gives us our space, while allowing Brandt to remain close to the brewery in the loft, and to have the bachelor pad all to himself.

“Came together decently,” I reply. “Nice of y’all to pair off and leave Sylvie’s house vacant for us.”

“You’re welcome.” Willa beams proudly, as if that had been her plan all along.

If I didn’t know better, I’d think it was.

“Milo!” Kenzie bursts through the door, excitement radiating off her. Dustin is a few steps behind her, his pace a lot more relaxed, both of them dressed as if they belong in an old western.

“Kenzie!”

She stops in front of me, sucking in a deep breath. “Glad the door was open; my keys are buried in my purse.”

“You have keys?”
