All while reaching between us, his hand somehow finding my clit as he pistons away, a single swipe of the bundle of nerves and I’m done for. Soaring.

“Jace!”

The bomb inside me goes off, shattering me into a million pieces. My eyes slam shut, fireworks going off, both behind my eyelids and in my ears. I go rigid, unable to move or scream, the most white-hot, intense sensation flooding through me.

In the distance, I hear a roar, my name ringing out like a megaphone, echoing off the walls. Jace grips my hips tighter, thrusting a couple more times, before collapsing on top of me.

The weight of him is heavy—perfect—his exhale tickling my skin. I come back down to earth, trying to find all my senses again. The ones I definitely lost control of for a moment. Audio hallucinations are not something I’m accustomed to.

“How you feelin’ there, Mama?” Jace asks, rolling off of me after a long moment.

I suck in a harsh breath, missing the feel of him already.

Also, how am I feeling?

Blissed out. Like jelly. More relaxed than I can ever remember being. Worn out. Pleasure drunk.

“Good.”

“Good? Just good?” Jace gathers me in his arms, pulling me into his chest. His warmth swallows me, making me feel whole again. “I didn’t do a very good job if all you’re feeling is good.”

I giggle, trying to twist so I can look at him, but he holds on even tighter, stopping me from moving.

“Better than good,” I admit. “But I don’t have the words right now.”

Jace kisses the newly discovered spot on my neck, sending a zing through me.

“Fair.” Another press of his lips to that spot, and I’m already starting to think I could find it in me to go again. Apparently he found my on button. “Shower to get you cleaned up?”

“Are you going to be able to behave yourself in the shower?”

I feel his dick twitch against my ass, answering the question for him.

“I make no promises of what might happen if presented with the chance to suds you up and worship this beautiful body of yours.”

“Stripes and all?” I joke. Err, half joke. For all I know all that stuff he said about liking my mommy tummy was an in-the-moment thing and not something real.

“They’re my favorite pattern.” Letting go long enough to flip me over, he kisses me, assuring me he means it. “I told you, that’s my second favorite part.”

His second favorite part. Internally, I melt all over again. I need to change the subject before I’m nothing but a pile of goo. Before I do something I’ll regret.

Like fall completely head over heels for Jace Hayes.

“C’mon, Mama. Let’s get you cleaned up.” He scoops me up like it’s the easiest thing in the world. I kiss him, because that is the easiest thing in the world.

Because if I’m honest with myself, I’m already head over heels for him.

And that’s a problem.
