And I never want to let go.
Ever.
A long moment later, Luna inches backward. Running her fingers daintily along the mark she left on my shoulder, she chuckles.
“That was…unexpected,” she murmurs.
“But not unwelcome,” I reply, stealing a kiss. “Although you could have mentioned earlier that you’re a vampire. Or are you a werewolf and now I have to worry about the full moon?”
She smiles half-heartedly, peeling herself off me. “Neither. Promise.”
Uh-oh, something’s wrong. Shit. What did I do?
That was good, wasn’t it? Fuck. I thought so. She came twice. Didn’t she?
Shit. Fuck. Damn.
Okay, I can fix this. Words help.
I scoop her up, laying us on our side, spooning her. The heat from her body feels good—welcoming—and she doesn’t make an effort to move. I can’t be in that much trouble.
“I’m not used to women being sad after sex, Luna.”
Rolling over to face me, she traces her way along my pecs, leaving my chest hair mussed and rough.
“Not sad, just…disappointed?” She purses her lips to the side, still not meeting my eye. “You got to taste me, but I didn’t get to taste you.”
Well…shit. Luna I don’t know your last name, you are Trouble with a capital T.
“I think we can rectify that.”
She looks up at me, that impish look returning. “Where are you staying tonight?”
“I was planning on finding a place to camp.”
“Stay with me instead. Spend the night with me here.”
“Is that your way of saying you want to go again?” I poke her sides, tickling along her torso, earning a giggle. One that could rival the angels singing.
“You did say we could rectify my disappointment…”
I smirk, feeling excited and ready to see where this leads.
“To wherever the moonshine takes us.”

LINDEE
“Do you like breakfast tacos?”
The cool morning air seeps through the floorboards, winning the battle against the small pile of mostly extinguished embers in the fireplace. A shiver crawls across the exposed skin of my arm and I shift under the covers, curling into the heat of Brewer’s bare chest.
“Breakfast, lunch, dinner…if your sweet taco is on the menu…”
What?!
I scrunch my brow, trying to figure out what he’s talking about. Not only am I not going to be doing the cooking, breakfast tacos aren’t—
