“Come for me, baby…”
I do.
Between Brandt’s magic words and even more magic touch, I’m done for. Cooked all the way through and ready for the table.
My body goes rigid, thighs slamming shut on Brandt’s head as my orgasm racks me. I hold tightly to him, not willing to let go, my eyes slamming shut. Static fills my vision, replacing the back of my eyelids, and sends me flying. Wave after wave of intense, white-hot goodness rolls through me, keeping me elevated as Brandt continues. He doesn’t let up, holding on to my climax and dragging it out for what feels like an eternity. And somehow, not long enough.
Slowly, I come back down. Opening my eyes, color returns to focus, my chest heaving hard as I try to catch my breath. My limbs are limp, numb, and heavy, despite my desire to move. To pull this amazing man into me and return the favor. To rock his world the same way he did mine.
“Lindee…” he whispers, ducking out from under the cage my pants created. Leaning over me, he kisses me—softly at first, then deepens it—letting me taste myself on his lips. I wrap my hands in his tee, trying to pull him impossibly close. “I…I…”
“I know…me too…” I reply, knowing exactly what he can’t say.
The same thing I can’t.
Because we aren’t there. We aren’t anything.
That’s going to change this weekend though. I want us on the same page. I want us to say what we’re both currently holding back.
That isn’t a right now thing though. That will come later.
“Brandt…”
“Luna…”
I laugh. “Brewer…”
“There we go.”
He kisses my forehead, sitting me up. I reach for his belt buckle, still ready for some payback. I’m cut off by the crunch of gravel.
We both freeze, twisting to look out of the driver side window. Sure enough, that’s Rylan’s SUV.
“I am fully aware of how hard you’ve worked and how this is your vision, Mickey,” Declan says, exasperated as they pile out of the car.
“Don’t call me that!”
“I just don’t think Mr. Family Values himself is the guy to try and partner with.”
“We are a family company, Declan. Or did you forget that part?”
I press my lips together, biting down to hold in my laugh. Brandt catches my eyes, doing the same, shaking his head.
“I guess I should put my pants back on,” I whisper, stealing a kiss.
“Probably a good idea.”
No, it is not…
I sigh, sliding out of the truck to do up my pants. “Just one thing you need to know, Mr. Rawlins,” I say, hoping I sound menacing. Or at least playfully so.
“And what’s that?” he answers back, squinting like he’s on to me.
“When we get to the hotel tonight, you’re mine. And payback is—”
He cuts me off with a kiss. A hot, hard kiss.
“A good fucking time?” he offers, pulling back just enough.
