Chapter 4

Commander Jaider Katon

When my father summoned me earlier in his room, I had no idea he had a mate for me, let alone it being Molly. My father was clever, one of the reasons why he was the Captain, and I knew he wouldn’t stop pushing Molly on me until I got this mission over with. But I hadn’t planned on seeing her naked.

After fantasizing over her, I had an even tougher time getting her out of my mind. I kept up the arrogance mostly so I could just convince myself I wasn’t attracted to her, but her reactions and comebacks just made her more attractive. As she stood there, dripping wet in front of me in the creek, her hard nipples were just begging to be tasted. I couldn’t stop myself anymore. My mind instantly filled with lust for this human woman.

As soon as my gaze landed on her naked breasts, my hands immediately ached to touch them. I wanted to press them against my body. I wanted to massage them with my hands. I wanted to lick and suck them…

I moved through the water quickly as though I was drawn to her by some spell, and as my hands wrapped around her small wet back, I was set on fire with desire. I pressed my mouth onto her small trembling lips, kissing her softly and making her moan.

She was so petite and fragile under my fingertips, that I suddenly realized why the Revians had grown attracted to this feeling. It was intoxicating to feel so powerful over someone, and I had never felt more like a male before. I groaned in her mouth as I finally understood.

My hands moved from her back to her breasts, feeling her nipples in the middle of my palms. They were luscious and firm and small, and I moved my mouth from hers, and let my kisses trail down her neck, and then to her chest. My eyes followed the beads of water dripping off her curves, and I instinctively licked them off her soft wet skin. I sighed in relief as I finally quenched my desire to lick her beautiful body, and her fingers buried themselves into my wet hair as she softly moaned.

“Jaider…,” she whispered.

Hearing my name on her lips was instant ecstasy, but it also reminded me she was a human, and it helped to break me out of Molly’s spell.

I couldn’t do this.

I was betraying my people. It was wrong.

I put my hands on her shoulders and pulled her away from me, and Molly looked up at me with her big brown eyes clouded with lust and confusion. My breathing was ragged, as I looked at her small face and trembling wet body. I was confused too.

It was hard to pull away from her, but I had to. I turned my back to her, and swallowed the lump in my throat before speaking.

“I should get the fire going. It’s getting darker by the minute,” I said, moving away from her and toward the edge of the creek. I stepped onto the bank, and didn’t turn back towards her. I knew if I saw her standing there, all wet and naked and fragile, that I would go back and have my way with her. I quickly grabbed my pants, belt and boots, and walked back toward the campsite.

I could hear her moving in the water behind me, but she said nothing. I was glad she chose to keep quiet, as I needed the space to think. I dressed quickly at the campsite, and set to work at building the fire.

As Molly got dressed, I gathered wood and placed it under an overhang of rock which stuck out from the rock wall. It was the perfect place to light a fire because it would shield the fire light from being seen through the forest, and also keep the smoke from spreading thick into the air. It would also keep the heat in a small area where we could sleep.

I piled the wood under the overhang while Molly sat quietly on a boulder, putting her boots on before braiding her hair. Neither of us said anything, and I didn’t want to talk about what just happened, as I was feeling guilty.

After I lit the fire, I rummaged through my supply bag, finding a large bottle of Leepa. Leepa was useful in the field because it could help keep you warm, clean open wounds, but mostly it was good for distracting you. I took two large swigs before walking over to the boulder next to Molly, and handing the bottle over to her.

“What is it?” she asked, scrunching her nose as she took the bottle from me.

“It is Leepa. I think on Earth, you have something similar called ‘alcohol’,” I answered. She sighed and smiled with relief.

“Thank you, I could use some of that right about now” she said gratefully, sniffing at the opening and wincing at the smell.

“It’s perfectly safe for you. The human females in the village have been drinking it for decades. It’s very strong though, so you might not want to drink too much. It’s made for our large bodies, not your small human form, after all,” I told her. As soon as I said it, the image of her delicate body in my hands, and how powerful it made me feel popped into my head. I looked away from her and grabbed another log, throwing it into the fire.

When I turned back to her, she was taking a large swig of Leepa, and then wrinkling her nose before handing it back to me. She moved in front of the fire, and sat on the grass, rummaging around her bag for some fruit to eat. I sat down next to her and joined her, and we ate in silence for a while, just staring at the fire and drinking Leepa.

“Jaider, what are the Compiers? And why would they take Emma?” she asked, breaking the silence.

It was a topic I didn’t want to talk about, but I understood why she wanted to know. She would find out sooner or later, considering she was going to be a permanent resident on my planet. Besides, it was better for her to know now since she was on this mission too, as her knowledge could help.

“The Compiers are another race occupying one of our moons,” I began to explain. She straightened her back and listened to me with rapt attention. I continued, “You can’t see the moon from here, but you can from the village. I’ll show it to you when we return.”

“The Revians and Compiers have been enemies for hundreds of years. I don’t know what began this fight, but there has always been hatred between our two races, and we have been battling and fighting against them my whole life. They come here to take our resources mostly, and that includes human females they take with them back to the moon. We try to stop them from doing it, but we are not always successful.”

“This feud between us has never made sense to me either,” I said, shaking my head. “If we could all just share, then there would be peace, but alas, that isn’t up to me to decide. There have been many casualties along the way, and most of lives were lost for no reason at all,” I shook my head again, taking a big swig of my drink.

“I can tell it bothers you,” Molly whispered, her eyes brimming with sadness. “These casualties you speak of…is there anyone you know?” she asked in a very soft voice. My breath hitched as she guessed correctly.
