With my arms still wound around Dahlia’s waist, I teased the skin of her neck with the tip of my tongue. She writhed against me, and my cock liked it a bit too much.

A soft moan escaped her mouth, and I was a goner. “Babe, I love you, but you’ll kill me. Don’t make that kind of noise in public.”

She turned her head to face me. “I love you so much. Thanks for always having my back.”

“Anytime, Princess.”

My girl turned around and sank her body into mine, looping her arms around my neck.

Our tongues danced together, and I savored every corner of her mouth. The crotch of my pants tightened. Warmth rolled up and down my spine. Dahlia was the end of me. Anytime we were together, I lost track of everything else. Nothing in the world existed beside us. If soulmates happened, Dahlia was mine. Now. Here. And forever.

“I want to go back home with you,” she whispered in my ear. My heart picked up its tempo.

“Dah—We can’t. Your parents—”

Her hand curled around my hard-on. I gasped, trying to drive oxygen to my brain.

“Please, I want you. I’m ready for this.”

“Baby, stop. I’ll come in my pants. Oh—God—Princess—You’re—”

My eyes searched Carter. He was laughing with Phoenix and Chris—Addison’s boyfriend—further away. I blinked. This was the band’s night. I had no intention of shoving my happiness in his face.

Dahlia rose to her feet and held out her hand for me to take.

I huffed and grabbed it, trying to hide my swollen cock from our friends. Dahlia pivoted until her back pressed to my front and swayed her hips, grinding her ass against my painful erection. Making it stiffer. And thicker.

My hands found her shoulders as I leaned forward. “Stop. Fine. We’ll go home. Please stop. I’m begging you.”

Her clear laughter broke something in me. A restraint I’d placed on myself months ago. The promise to never touch her that way before she was ready.

Our fingers intertwined, and I picked up Dahlia’s guitar case from the ground, using it as a shield to hide the tent stretching the front of my pants. When we walked past Stud, I whispered into his ear. “Don’t fucking come home before I text you. I’m not joking here. Don’t you even dare, or I’m throwing you out.”

Stud winked, a cocky smile taking over his face, but said nothing as he sipped his beer.

“Hey, Carter, don’t drive home. I’ll pick you up later, bro. Just wait for me,” I almost screamed his way, my throbbing heart the only sound making it to my ears. The blood rushing to my dick rendered me lightheaded and breathless.

My brother gave me a thumbs-up, too distracted to care where I was going.

Some tension in my upper back left. I breathed easier.

Dahlia tugged at my hand, and I followed her, trying to swallow, as everything inside me tightened and pulsed.

Once in my truck, Dahlia’s mouth attacked mine. She was fierce and gentle, hard and soft, all at the same time, leaving me no time to catch my breath. “Dah, wait—Are you sure?” I leaned back to meet her eyes.

“I’ve been ready for a while. You’re always the one stopping it. I don’t want to wait anymore.”

“What about your dad? If we get caught, he’ll kill me. I don’t want to end up with a charge against me. You know he’ll put me in jail.”

“Stop talking about my daddy, Jeff,” Dahlia said, biting my lower lip and shattering the last threads of my self-control. “I want you, and I know for a fact you want me. I can feel you. All of you.” She dragged her fingernails down my chest. Her hand ventured lower until my thick length vibrated in her hand. “Yeah. I know you do. Stop arguing and bring me home.”

I nodded, unable to speak. I looked at the time. We had two hours left before Dahlia’s curfew. I would enjoy every second of it.

Once I pulled into my driveway and killed the engine, I circled the truck and opened the door to scoop Dahlia over my shoulder. Her laughter stoked the wildfire raging inside me. I fumbled with the door lock, my hands shaky.

“How many times have you done it?” she asked, her voice low, her teeth nibbling on my earlobe. Right now, long gone for her, I would’ve agreed to anything she asked for.

I dropped her to her feet and searched her eyes. “A few. Years ago. It meant nothing. I’m not sure I knew what love was before you. And I’ve loved nobody else but you, Princess.” I tilted my head to graze her lips, soft and bright pink from all the kissing. “We don’t need to do anything you’re not comfortable with. We have all our lives to be together.”
