His lips, insatiable and hungry, sampled my nape. His palms traveled all over my naked flesh, leaving addictive shivers in their wake.

“Show me the way.”

Before the water had even got hot enough, I dropped to my knees and pulled Carter’s length into my mouth. By the groans and curses leaving his lips, I had him where I wanted him to be. At my mercy. And having someone like Carter Hills ceding all his power to me was a sight I could never get tired of. And I relished every second as I sucked him deeper and played him with my greedy tongue.

“Fuck, Savannah.”

I dug my fingertips into his ass cheeks, erasing any distance between us.

“Did you miss me?” I asked as I pulled back to catch a full breath.

“I did.” He growled, and the sound reverberated through his entire being.

I increased the cadence, relishing every reaction of his body.

“Don’t forget to show me later.” I winked, and his eyes turned feral. His fingers fisted my hair, and he set the pace. He tensed, and before he could tell me to back away, I moved to my feet, strangling his erection with my hand. “Don’t come just yet.”

He watched me. His dilated pupils looked black instead of steel gray. His jaw was set in a firm line. And his lips were pinched together. All signs he was doing his best to restrain himself.

“What do you have in mind?” he asked through gritted teeth. By now, Carter was aware I savored the control in the bedroom. Sometimes, I would let him lead, but I craved the command. Being in charge gave me a new sense of power that got me hornier than anything else.

I winked in the most devilish way I could muster. “You’ll see. But I can already tell walking a straight line will be a challenge later. Are you in?”

He watched me, and something resembling fear passed through his gaze, but it only lasted a second and disappeared. The other day, I introduced him to some of my fetishisms, and let’s just say he didn’t enjoy the pain. Me, on the other hand? I was dripping wet at the sight of this man squirming to avoid the torture and begging me to stop when I presented him with nipple clamps after I handcuffed him to the bed. For a reason I couldn’t explain, Carter wasn’t enthusiastic about my proposition to add some excitement to our sex life. When he was left with no route of escape, I speared myself over his sex, so aroused that no orgasms were powerful enough to quench the thirst inside me. I was a sexual creature, and I fully embraced that role.

I splayed a hand over his chest. “Relax. No handcuffs this time. I just want you to take me on my bed. And look me in the eyes when you push me over the edge. Is it too much to ask?”

“You said—”

I placed a finger over his lips to silence his protest.

“Not this morning. I missed you too much. Let’s just enjoy each other.”

We toweled ourselves dry, and Carter didn’t budge when I motioned him forward. “What?” I asked in my most innocent voice.

His eyebrows bunched together. “You never wanna just enjoy each other,” he said, emphasizing the words with air quotes.

I offered him a half-shrug. “It’s a one-time offer. Take it or leave it.”

With one last dubious look my way, he followed without questioning my motive anymore.

CARTER

Savannah lay half on me, with her chin propped on her joined hands, her breasts pressing against my chest, and our faces inches apart.

White walls and furniture, her small bedroom consisted of a queen-size bed, a dresser, and a nightstand. A few crimson pillows over a white comforter, a bedside lamp, and a throw blanket added some personality to the cramped space. Over the months, Savannah’s place had become our love nest every time I was in town.

“You’re coming to Nashville for the party my record label is throwing next month, right?”

Savannah shook her head, flipping her hair over her shoulder, reminding me of Carla. The only woman I had grown to hate.

“No.”

“Come on. We’ve been together…what? Eight months now? And you haven’t met any of my friends.”

She slid forward to kiss my lips. “Carter, if I come, I’ll steal the show. It’s better if I stay here. You know how I hate to leave LA anyway. The Tennessee weather isn’t good for me or my skin. See, I’m doing you a favor. Making you my priority.”
