“Oh, God,” I moan.

“Christ,” he spits. “You’re going to be the death of me, Heather.”

With his eyes never leaving mine, he slowly draws back. When only the tip of his cock is inside me, I brace. I wait for him to slam into me. He doesn’t. He enters me just as slowly. It’s torture and the most pleasure I ever had all mixed into one.

“Stop teasing,” I breathe.

“I’m not teasing,” he smiles a cocky smile.

“Stop it,” I repeat, my hands trying to get leverage on his back, trying to urge him to fuck me.

“What do you want?” he asks softly.

“I want you,” I confess.

“You have me,” he whispers all the while continuing with his slow, gentle movements.

I can’t stand it a second longer. “I want you to fuck me,” I shout in his face not able to live with the frustration a second longer.

As an answer on his upward move, he doesn’t glide, he slams inside, stealing my breath away.

“Yes,” I moan circling my legs around his waist again, to get leverage, to be able to move.

He kisses me, our tongues battling for supremacy, his breath fanning my cheek. He slides his hand down my side, squeezing my skin almost unconsciously, like he’s trying to brand me, and then he slides it under my back, tilting my ass up. There’s no more slow, there’s no more teasing. Breaking the kiss, he starts to thrust hard, fast. Hitting the spot in me. Pulling out my pleasure. I raise my hands above my head, and claw at the carpet, trying to get something to get a hold on.

“Nick,” I cry desperately, the pleasure starting to become too much.

“Look at me, Heather,” he commands not slowing down. Not losing momentum. He’s giving me what I asked for. And he has no mercy. When I don’t do as he commands, he bites my neck to get my attention. “I said, look at me.”

If I didn’t know any better, I would think he hates me. Maybe he does, I know I hate him for giving me a glimpse of this. A glimpse of how it can be. And after tonight, taking it all away. His hand going between us, he finds my clit giving it a swirl. That’s all it takes. I reach a peak I never in my life thought I would and explode in million pieces and colors, losing the touch of reality. There’s nothing.

Nothing except this feeling.

Nothing except him.

Us.

“Nick,” I moan against his lips that are touching mine.

“That’s it, pretty girl,” he murmurs.

Slowly coming down, I feel the fingers of one of his hands entwined with mine, the other rises a little until he’s holding me around my waist and brings me up. Then he’s getting on his knees, impaling me more on him. I didn’t think it was possible to feel this full.

“Ride me, baby. And do it quick, I’m close,” his breath harsh, his thrust becomes more powerful, savage, even.

I don’t think I have it in me to come again. But as I roam my hands all over him, as I lick and kiss his neck. As his smell invades my whole being, he proves me wrong. And once again, I explode losing the ability to move. I can feel him taking control over my body, holding me suspended in the air, while he thrusts upward. But I don’t care. All I know is this. All I feel is more pleasure added to my climax with his every move. He doesn’t slow his movements, but I can feel his eyes on me.

I open them, and his smile greets me, “There you are.” He looks at me intensely for a few seconds then he’s the one that closes his eyes, letting the pleasure get the best of him.

Driving deep once, then twice, he kisses me. At the third, he starts groaning into my mouth. At the fourth, he breaks the kiss.

And after the fifth, he stills completely, and through the haze of beauty he’s giving me, I hear him almost roar, “Heather!”

After a few harsh beats of our hearts, he lowers us back to laying on the floor, his head goes into my neck, my eyes open and look at the ceiling. And we don’t move. We just breathe. Hard. We just are. His breath the cold wind on my neck, urging me back to the present, the reality of our situation knocking on the door of my mind. I try to push it away, then he squeezes my fingers and something metal bites them. His wedding band. In a nanosecond, everything comes rushing back in.

What we have done.

Again.

What that means.

The fact I broke a promise I gave to myself for the second time in two days. Guilt comes creeping in next, and as my muscles start to constrict to get a move on, to get the hell out of here, to run away and try to forget this ever happened, he kisses my neck and takes a deep breath, breathing me in. I turn my face, and nuzzle his ear, sweeping everything away. There’s no room for remorse. No room for guilt. Not tonight. There’s only us. And I know, as of tomorrow, there wouldn’t be anything left at all. Nothing, but him. Because in two days he’s done the impossible. He has managed to sneak in and install himself in my very being. Leaving me with only one thing. A question. The very same one Erin told me about.

What if?

There are so many versions of it, I couldn’t even begin to comprehend it. And for now, I don’t want to. I know I can’t ever have him. But for now, he’s mine. Because for now, there’s only us. For now, there’s no tomorrow.
