“Several directories were encrypted.”
“Names?”
“Orion. Janus. Aegis. And one called Fate.”
The cabin went silent.
Lucas looked at me.
“Fate?”
“Yes.”
“What was inside it?”
“I couldn’t open it.”
Hawk’s fingers stopped moving over the keyboard.
“Could Fate be an operation?”
“Or a person,” Adam said.
I shook my head.

The helicopter banked sharply.
Warning lights flashed inside the cabin.
