“Scanning ventilation controls.”
“Boone, continue toward the medical ward.”
“Moving.”
Gunfire erupted through the radio.
Wynn flinched.
I grabbed the handset.
“Boone!”
“We’ve got company!”
More gunshots.
Russ shouted.
“Two down!”
Ghost fired.
“Kane’s men are inside the tunnel!”
“Fall back,” Adam ordered.
“Negative,” Boone answered. “That device activates in two minutes.”
