“What does he want?”

“The location.”

“Do not give it to him.”

“I wasn’t planning to.”

“Turn around.”

“The door sealed behind us.”

Minser’s voice came faintly through her radio.

“We’re approaching the rail platform.”

I tightened my grip on the handset.

“If you touch her⁠—”

“Save the threats,” Minser answered. “Kane has Elena inside the hangar.”

Roth stepped toward me.

“Is my sister alive?”

“For now.”

“Minser,” I said, “if Wynn enters that hangar⁠—”

“She already has.”

The connection ended.

I ran.

“Which way?” Adam shouted.

Hawk checked the plans as he followed.

“Western corridor.”

We reached an intersection.

One passage led toward the airstrip.

The other toward the facility’s main control room.

Hawk stopped.

“Kane may have activated a purge.”

“We don’t have time.”

“If he destroys the facility, everyone inside dies.”

“Can you stop it remotely?”
