“Henderson has disappeared, we have ears on his house and car and all known haunts but no dice. We think he may have gone into hiding, but he has to come out sooner or later as he has a business to run. Hamilton hasn’t left his home and has had no calls of import. The cameras Zenobi set are working, and the man is a clean freak, who also has a serious love for Japanese porn. Other than that, nothing exciting to report.”

Daniel came to join them then. He stood with his arms crossed, his eyes on Emme as she tried to land a kick to Lucy’s side and got put on her ass. Daniel winced and shook his head. “I had a report from Will this morning after I left the hospital. He says he found information about the Phial of Jesus Blood. So, the story goes that during the second world war it was hidden from the original Basilica to protect it from the Nazi’s but the one that was moved to the Cathedral’s chained library is a fake and that it actually contains codes for a German drug created during the second world war.”

Zack nodded, “That would make more sense. But where is the original?”

Daniel shrugged, “No idea. Did we find evidence of any codes?”

“No, but we weren’t looking. I’ll have Ava look at it as soon as we get to the office.” Zack spoke to Kanan then. “Is everyone settled?”

“Mostly. Colin is still reluctant, but having Megan around is helping. The kids all think it’s an adventure and pretty much so do the oldies. It’s like a cross between a retirement home and nursery.”

“Good job.” Zack clapped K on the shoulder and ginned “How is the training going?” he asked, focusing back on Daniel.

“Good, Lucy has even offered the others some basic self-defence training which I’ve encouraged everyone to do.”

“Good idea. Well, I’m going to go home and make some calls and see if I can get some more intel on this theory about the Phial of blood.”

“Any news from Zin?” Daniel asked.

Zack shook his head. “No, so I have to assume he is fine and will contact us when he can.”

Daniel and K nodded, agreeing.

“Right I’m off, see you at 08:00 tomorrow for a briefing.”

Zack corralled his family, and they drove home, tonight he wanted some downtime, just as soon as he made those calls.
