“Please,” she cried even though she was already pulsing around my fingers again.

Lightning zipped along my spine, stars flickering in my vision as I clenched my eyes shut and let loose.

I wanted to fall on top of her. I wanted to drive her with my hips into the bed. But there were more important things now than making her come again.

“You okay?” I asked, sliding my fingers out of her core. I palmed her belly and my girl spread her fingers over mine.

“Never better, never better,” she mused, eyes glittering as a smile tipped her lips.

A quiet chuckle rumbled through me, and I slowly pulled out. “You think that’s funny?”

“No,” she told me, dropping to her side. “I think you’re perfect. I want to keep you forever.”

“Don’t you know? I only play for keeps.” I lowered myself beside her, hand on her hip as she raised hers to my cheeks. “I love you.”

“I love you, too.” She pressed a kiss to my lips, but it was interrupted by a knock at the door.

“Shit.”

Jen rose to her knees, those deep blue eyes of hers going wide. “You have to leave.”

I stole another kiss. Then another before she pushed me off the bed.

“Get! You can’t be here.”

“I think I can be wherever I want.”

Jen rolled her eyes, tossing my still-hard dick a quick glance. She groaned. “I want you again.”

“My horny little girl.” My lips met hers at the same time another knock sounded at the door.

“Jen? You awake?”

“I better go.” I gave Jen a wink, then slipped out the side door.

My toes sank into the sand as the ocean breeze tossed my hair into my eyes. I swiped it away, but it just fell back into place. A deep chuckle cut through the air, and I stilled, my feet sinking into the warm sand.

“Couldn’t stay away, could you?”

Turning, I found Mitch standing on the small porch of his and Vivian’s cabin. I cleared my throat. Smoothed a hand down my shirt. Then raised a brow as he took a step my way. “Can you blame me?”

Mitch laughed again, shaking his head. “Not a chance, brother. I’d be doing the same thing.”

I grimaced, trying to push the thought out of my head. Mitch might have become one of my best friends, but he was still dating my sister.

“You ready for today?”

“I’ve been ready for this day since I first laid eyes on Jen.”

“She in there working?”

Running a hand over my jawline, I let out a heavy breath. “Can’t get her to quit. She told me she was thinking about it all night and thinks she figured it out.”

“That’s great!”

Mitch and I walked in silence, soaking in the sun as our feet left imprints along the sandy beach.

Jen never went back to the Guardian Group, not even to collect her things. She stayed with me in the hospital, never leaving my side. The doctors were right to worry. I contracted pneumonia just as they expected I might. By the time I was released from the hospital, Frankie and Corey were back from their honeymoon.
