“You’re a pretty baby, aren’t you?”

“I hope so, Daddy.” Was I though? He didn’t look like he was lying as he ran his palms up and down my arms and over my chest.

A desperation enveloped me. I rolled into him. “Hold me, Daddy.”

He skirted an arm under me and pulled me to his chest. I wrapped my arms over his shoulders and kissed his neck. He rolled me back again, putting his leg between mine and bending his knee. In this position I couldn’t move. I snuggled down, safe and secure, liking the idea that all decision had been taken away from me.

Except one.

“Okay?” he asked.

“Yes, Daddy.”

I never wanted to stop saying yes.

Truce peppered me with kisses all over, making his way down to my beltline. I arched for him but he trapped my hips. Tidal waves of heat passed through me.

My pants became miraculously unbuttoned. I wiggled to help him push them all the way off. My shoes hit the floor.

“How cute.”

I opened my eyes to see Truce staring at my crotch. I had forgotten I wore my little boy underwear, white, patterned with colorful balloons and elastic seams outlined in red.

“I—I—”

He frowned, bringing his face closer to mine. “From now on,” he said, “you’ll wear underwear only like this. No boxers. No solid colors. I want to see lots of kitties and ducks and more balloons.”

“Yes, sir, Daddy. I have lots.”

“Describe them to me.”

I could barely catch my breath to speak. “Goldfish. Butterflies. Flowers. Umbrellas. Hot dogs.”

“Hot dogs?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

“My favorite.”

I couldn’t suppress a giggle.

He lifted my undershirt and pulled it over my head.

Before I could settle, he was already kissing my naked stomach, nudging my waistband.

As his tongue licked around my bellybutton, I let out a shrill yell, then slapped my hand over my mouth and bit down.

“Lie still.” Truce’s voice slid into my mind like a dream. Easy and sure and beautiful.

I wanted to do everything he said. Everything.

I worked hard to stop moving. But his mouth made that impossible. Especially since it was kissing past the waistband and over the cotton that was tented by my hardness.

No one had ever touched me this close. Not down there. I kissed a boy once at the park outside the school I briefly went to. That day, when the limo came to pick me up, I ran to Donny, my face red, my body drenched in sweat. Donny asked me if I was all right. I told him I was and I never went back to that park. Not because I didn’t like the kiss but because I’d loved it a lot and that scared me.

I didn’t want to do anything bad or wrong because Grandfather had become frail in the last couple of years and any change in routine might disrupt him, including me growing up.

Truce didn’t know I hadn’t done anything like this before. I kept my mouth shut, not wanting anything to stop. Not now.
