I’ve tried to ignore it, I’ve mumbled ‘close your legs’ but after an hour and a half of her constant advances, I’m ready to snap.

Sitting up, I raise a brow at her, and the woman grins, her grey eyes sparkling with lust, and she husks, “Like what you see?”

I open my mouth to finally fucking snap but I soon close it when I hear Marshall say, “Somehow I doubt he does, love,” as he walks into my room I’m currently renting from the Untamed, and I smirk his way before I look at Nia and state, “The next time you open your legs, I stop my work, and you can go elsewhere.”

She grins and comments, “A man proud of his work, I like it,” then leans back, closing her legs to allow me to finish, and I shake my head at Marshall, who rightfully looks pissed off.

“Where’s Scottie?” Marshall asks as I continue to shade in the rose on Nia’s thigh, and I murmur, “She should be on her way home from the parent-teacher meeting,” and Marshall huffs.

“Fucking Rachel, I can’t believe she told the school her sister will do the meeting,” he grunts, and I quickly look at him and scoff, “It gets worse, Rachel told the school to go through Scottie permanently,” and Marshall grows tense as he curls his lip in disgust and I nod as I pay attention back to the tattoo.

Don’t get me wrong, Scottie was pissed when the principal called her and informed her what her sister did, but she was happy. She mentioned that for years, she felt that Sammie was hers but refused to step across that line, but now, she doesn’t have a choice because her sister is neglecting her child, who she clearly only had as a fuck you to her own sister and to try and hurt her.

Selfish bitch.

“Scottie doesn’t mind, Marshall,” I mutter as I dip my needle, “Control your anger, I can feel it from here.”

“Fucker,” he mutters, making my lips twitch, and I continue to finish the rose, the need to get home to my family high.

“You know Rachel hasn’t even asked how Sammie is doing?” he mentions. “She hasn’t seen him in three months and not once has she asked about him.”

“It doesn’t surprise me,” I say as I switch off my machine, finally fucking done with the tat, and I grab the cream and paper towels. “She seems to want to always have a one-up on Scottie.”

I gently wipe the tattoo, then scoop a small amount of cream onto two fingers and rub it on the tattoo before I grab the clear film, tear a large piece, place it over the tattoo, and then grab some tape.

I say, “Alright, Nia, for the first twenty-four hours, I want you to keep on the clear film that I’ve just put on. Afterwards gently wash it with lukewarm water and unscented soap before applying a cream. If you have any problems, then come back and one of us will take a look.”

Nia slowly opens her legs again as I finish taping the film, and I sit back and lock my jaw as she husks, “Or how about you see to my needs now, and your friend can watch.”

Seriously? If a man did this, he’d be fucking locked up…

“Stop trying to advance on my son-in-law!” Marshall snaps, and Nia raises a brow and stupidly states, “The biker doesn’t have a ring, or a woman’s name tattooed anywhere visible, he’s fair game.”

Fair game? What fucking books has she been reading? Fucking fair game.

I chuckle as I roll back on my stool and remove my left glove before holding my hand up and showing Nia my ring finger.

Her eyes widen in shock as she quickly closes her legs and chokes, “I thought you were playing hard to get,” and Marshall chuckles when I state, “I don’t need to play hard to get. If you know brothers claim women by inking their name on their skin, then you’ll know when a brother falls they fall fucking hard and my girl, she is my everything, her and her nephew.”

I nod to the door and state, “You can pay at the front desk, and just so you are aware, as I warned you before you entered this room, there are cameras at every corner, so don’t even try to lie and spread shit because I will sue.”

Her eyes tear up like she’s some kind of victim, and she nods as she jumps off the chair just as we hear, “I thought all bikers liked to fuck around on their women?! We all had a bet, why won’t you help me win it?!” and Nia winces as she gives me a sheepish look and runs out of the room while I roll my eyes.

“Fucking women are crazy,” Marshall mutters as the screeching echoes, and I know Daisy has smacked one of the girls.

“Yep, but to be fair, so is your daughter when she wants to be,” I mutter, and the man chuckles, “You wouldn’t have it any other way,” and I hum because no, I wouldn’t.

“So, what do I owe the pleasure of a visit?” I ask as I grab the wipes and begin cleaning my equipment, knowing Nia was my last client today.

More screams echo, and we both look up to find Daisy, tiny Daisy, dragging a blonde-haired woman out of Hawk's room, who runs out after them. When he notices us, he mutters, “Is it bad that I’m hard right now?” and I laugh my ass off as he runs after his wife.

“Okay, at least my daughter is not that crazy,” Marshall laughs, and I retort, “I don’t know, you haven’t seen the glares she gives women in the street if they look my way. She gives Felix a run for his money, and that cat is pure fucking evil.”

“I can’t believe she still has that fucking animal,” he grunts, and I mutter, “You and me both, the thing only likes Sammie, but to be honest, he is probably the reason why she’s still got the thing.”

“I really fucked up with Scottie,” Marshall sighs and I throw the wipes away and lean against the chair, “Ellie, when we got together, she always had this vision that if we had daughters that they’d follow in her footsteps and become lawyers. She wanted any sons we were to have to follow in my footsteps with psychiatry and Rachel and Lorenzo, they fell in line. They did everything Ellie wanted, especially when they realized Ellie would pay for everything, but Scottie – who by the way as much as she doesn’t want to believe, was always going to be called Scottie because we thought it would make her unique no matter her gender – she showed early on that healing people was her passion and Ellie didn’t want to accept it.”

“You both focused on the kids that went along with what you wanted,” I sigh and Marshall hums, “We did,” then admits, “and then Rachel who had noticed our disconnect to Scottie, began with her stories. How Scottie was flunking out of school, how she barely showed up. That prompted Ellie, who should have looked more into it instead of the hearsay from our other daughter, to tell Scottie that she was to pay for her own schooling. We believed that Kavan was apparently Rachel’s first. I took her side on everything,” he scoffs, “I really fucking messed up.”
