She needs me, she fucking needs me!
“She’s injured, I just fucking know, I can feel it!” I growl, and Marshall gets his phone out and presses a few buttons.
“Fucking voicemail,” he curses, and I breathe heavy as he tries to call her again.
My body physically fucking aches, like I can feel her pain. That is how in touch I am with her, how much my fucking heart beats for her, and I feel like a weight is dragging me down at the fear I have right now.
“I’m going to the hospital!” I snap, but Doc cuts in, “No, you’re not, not yet!” and I scowl his way, causing him to lift his hands in surrender.
“I know, I get it, I’m being a hypocrite, but we just need Flame to check the security cameras, then we’ll storm the hospital,” he says, then winces, “We need to ensure whoever took her kept her on hospital grounds, brother, so we’re not wasting our time.”
I sneer but look away before I hit my friend, just as a phone rings and I hear Hawk say, “Dad?”
“I was fucking knocked out!” I hear, and I look at Hawk sharply to see he has his phone on loudspeaker.
“Explain, Doc,” Dagger demands, and Dr. Thomas grunts, “I was talking to Scottie about her moving tomorrow. She had an inclination and mentioned that she spent twenty grand as punishment on Thunder's card. Next thing I know, I’m fucking hit from behind, and when I woke, I had my colleagues doing checks and Scottie nowhere to be fucking seen!”
Twenty grand? On what?
“Did anyone see anything?” Axel demands, taking over, “Scottie called Thunder, she was sobbing, and we heard that fucker Kavan, he took her, but before we could find out where she was, the line went dead!”
“Fuck,” Dr. Thomas curses, then denies, “No one saw anything, but Kavan is in with a patient with mental health concerns next door to the room I’m in, so if he did take her, then he wouldn’t have had enough time to remove her from the premises.”
“How did that fucker knock out a doctor then was placed with a patient and no one fucking notice?!” Axel booms and Dr. Thomas grunts, “We were in a quiet hallway on our way to grab a coffee, and I’m guessing because he took me from behind, he’s hoping I won’t know it was him, I guess the fucker forgot to check her for her phone.”
“I knew I should have fucking killed that bastard,” Lorenzo sneers, and I try Scottie’s phone again.
It rings, giving me hope, and everyone looks my way expectantly, but my body trembles when it hits voicemail and I clutch my phone so hard, I feel the screen crack.
“He didn’t take her out of the hospital,” Flame snaps, and I look his way as he explains, “He dragged her inside a door where it says cleaners and doesn’t come back out again, she’s unconscious!”
“Fuck,” Dr Thomas curses, “Flame, check camera eighteen. It’s the cleaning entrance and exit!”
“On it,” he mutters, and I step forward, causing my dad to grab my arm and mutter, “We don’t need you breaking his laptop out of anger, son,” and I lock my jaw.
Is it bad that I want to punch my own father?
“No exit, they’re still in the hospital,” Flame grunts, and Dr. Thomas growls, “Then they could be anywhere, the cleaners have several inside exit doors with their own elevators.”
I don’t hesitate, I don’t wait for a plan, and I don’t fucking wait for my president to give me orders. I get out of my dad's hold and rush towards the door and command, “Marshall, go grab Sammie from school, he’s in fucking danger, but bring him back here!”
“On it, just find my daughter and kill that fucker!” I hear as I rush out of the clubhouse and towards my bike, my sole focus – my girl.

I run into the hospital ten minutes later, breaking all speeding laws with the brothers and Lorenzo, who managed to keep up with my Harley, following me inside the ER.
My stomach is tight, my fear fucking consuming, but when I see Dr. Thomas standing by the desk with dried blood on the side of his head, terror hits me for my girl.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
“Kavan is in room three alone, finishing up his notes,” he grits when we get close, and I divert and rush that way with purpose, and I can feel everyone following me.
The fucker is going to die today, as soon as I find my girl, he is fucking dead. The fun Thunder that everyone sees, the idiot Thunder? He’s fucking gone and the fury Thunder is out.
“Fuck, I hope Kavan’s pain threshold is high,” I hear Doc mutter, “because Thunder is out…”
“I must admit, I’ve always wanted to see Thunder in real action,” Dagger says as I push open the curtain with rage, causing Kavan to jump as he looks up.
