"And a woman who has no idea what she does to me."

I turned my head slightly, and Roman caught my gaze in the mirror.

"Tell me to stop."

I couldn't.

Not because I was afraid to, but because every part of me was begging him not to.

He seemed to read the answer in my face.

"That's what I thought."

His hand settled against my throat again, gentle and grounding, and something inside me loosened.

Then the dress fell to the floor.

For a moment, Roman simply stared at my reflection.

There was no trace of the man who could walk into a boardroom and make grown men rethink their entire business plan with one look.

Just awe. Raw and unguarded enough that my stomach fluttered.

"Fucking beautiful," he said.

Heat rushed beneath my skin. I instinctively looked away, but his fingers caught my chin and turned my face back toward the mirror.

"Don't. Don't hide from me."

His voice was gentle, but there was something beneath it that made my breath catch.

"You're beautiful, Summer. All of you." His eyes moved over me in the mirror, slow and deliberate. "I want all of you."

He kissed my neck, and I closed my eyes.

"No." His lips brushed my skin again. "Keep them open."

I opened them.

"Watch."

His hands moved slowly along my sides, never rushing, never taking more than I gave.

His hands came up to the front clasp of my bra. A flick, a twist, and it released. The lace fell away, and he didn't rush. He eased the straps down my arms and let the bra tumble to the floor. Then he cupped my breasts in both hands, his palms warm and sure, like he'd already memorized the weight of me.

My head fell back. The sound that left my throat was soft and broken, and I didn't recognize it. His thumbs swept over my nipples until they tightened into aching points.

Every touch seemed to come with another quiet reassurance, another word spoken directly against my skin, until I couldn't tell where the warmth of his mouth ended and the heat spreading through me began.

His words became a rhythm. A tether.

Every time my thoughts tried to scatter, there was his voice pulling me back into my body.

"You feel that, don’t you?"

"Don't think about anything else."

"You’re doing so good for me."
