“How close?” Micah questioned, leaning down. “How close are you to blowing your load all over my fucking fist?”

I couldn’t answer him.

Couldn’t do anything.

My chest stuttered with every breath, abs flexing, hips twitching. He was hurting me but it was him, and Micah used to be able to make me come by doing anything.

“Think twice before you fuck her in my bed again,” Micah growled, then let go of my cock.

Another tortured sound broke free of my lips.

I hung my head, breathing heavy.

“Let’s clean you up,” Micah said, leading Dakota into my bathroom and starting the shower. I wanted to kill him.

The longer I sat there, tied to my own chair, the angrier I became. The more my hatred swelled in my veins. I stopped breathing, waiting semi-patiently until I had enough strength to snap the ropes he’d bound me with.

I stalked into the bathroom.

Micah tilted his head back under the spray, watching me through the glass shower. He arched a brow. The violence brewing inside of me wasn’t safe for Dakota to be around. It didn’t take long for Micah to notice that.

Dakota was oblivious, however. A fucked-out doll, too sweet and too horny for her own good.

She opened the door to the shower, motioning me over. Her naked body was glistening all over with droplets of water, her hair plastered to her back, a few strands clinging to her flushed cheeks. Behind her, I could see the water pouring down Micah’s soapy torso, streaming off his half-hard cock hanging between his legs. I forced myself to ignore it.

“Mason,” Dakota said, looking up at me with hope in her green eyes. Her eyelashes were clumped together by the water, giving her an even more doll-like appearance.

“I need to fuck you real bad, baby. But I might hurt you if I do,” I said through clenched teeth. “So I don’t think I’m going to.”

Micah was staring at me over her shoulder, but I refused to meet his eyes.

“I could handle it.”

“No, you couldn’t.” If she knew the way Micah was all over the inside of my skull right now, she’d probably have the sense to fear me, but she didn’t realize it. Thinking about her leaving with Micah now though had me seeing red. And I didn’t want to go with them to his house again. I was genuinely starting to despise myself for how often it happened. He’d become the default safe space for her, and I couldn’t let it remain that way without a fight.

Not tonight.

Have patience for once in your life.

“I could try,” she said, licking water off her pink lower lip.

“No, baby. Soon, though,” I promised, all my muscles tensed with the effort of remaining composed. “For now, you rest.”

I carefully wrapped my hand around the front of her throat, feeling her pulse below my fingertips, then lowered my mouth to hers. Her tongue fluttered against the seam of my lips, soft and searching, but I didn’t linger for long.

Dakota blinked up at me with her big eyes, and I felt sick to my stomach.

The corrosion in my brain was too much tonight.

I’ll get her back.

Just not right now.

She’s still mine.

I knew her first. I loved her first. She belongs to me.
