She doesn’t look convinced but doesn’t say another word. We sit in silence for a little longer before we gather the oils and lotions we made last night and head out into town to deliver the goodies.

The town looks like Halloween Town threw up everywhere. Jack-o’-lanterns sit in front of some of the shops with different carvings, spiderwebs hang in the windows and some of the shops even have themes. The smell of kettle corn and candy apples fills the air making my mouth water. I definitely need to stop and grab some on the way home.

One of the streets is blocked off with a full-on festival with children running around in their costumes and spooky music playing loud. There are different games and competitions going on with very, very competitive parents. I love Halloween. Normally I would be out with the girls in a slutty outfit partying until the sun rises but this year, I decided to stay back home. I didn’t want to take any chances especially with how worried my aunt is.

We spend the day delivering the items and walking around the festival eating way too much sugar and enjoying the sounds of chatter and joyful giggles that surrounded us. This is what I love about this town.

We make it back home before the sun sets. I make my way up to my bedroom as exhaustion settles over me. Once dressed in my nightgown and hair braided, I slip into my comfy bed, falling to sleep instantly.

The forest fills my surroundings, bringing me back to the dream I had last night. This time, it’s me walking on the path with trees shielding the dark sky. No stars or moon shine above to guide me to wherever my legs are leading me.

I wrap my arms around me as a gust of wind rushes past me, causing goosebumps to cascade down my body. Panic begins to rise as I know what’s coming. I pick up my speed as a crippling feeling slams into me. There’s a presence lurking, waiting for the perfect moment to hunt me down.

A sudden howl comes from my right and my feet take off running to get far away. The traitorous wolves alert the demon of my arrival, following me as I try to escape. I can’t let it catch me. I won’t end up like her.

Sharp rocks stab my bare feet as I run on the rough ground. I want to cry out in pain but I push myself to keep going. A branch cracks from behind me, putting me on high alert that the hunt has started. I’m trying to find that cottage but I can’t seem to find the right path.

“Brooklyn…” A deep, raspy, seductive voice fills my mind as he calls my name.

Temptation, the devil will lure you with any means possible. I don’t give in and keep going until I trip over a thick-as-fuck branch and face plant to the ground. A shadow hovers over me, locking me into place. I try to move but I can’t break the grip that bruises my skin.

I’m flipped onto my back as three shadows look down upon me. They have a form of man but no features are present. I feel a deep pull to them that I can’t control. This is new. They weren’t in my last dream. The way they present themselves is enticing but yet terrifying at the same time.

“Please, let me go. I’m not the one you want!” I scream, begging them to let me go.

All three of them crouch down to me with a hand extending from each shadow. Their cold hands move along my body as if they’ve been dying to touch me. They breathe me in, taking in my scent. A hand cups my breast and another goes in between my legs, rubbing my pussy above the fabric. A moan leaves my lips without permission, betraying me in every sense. It feels so good and I can’t fight how amazing they make me feel.

Hot, wet moisture covers my nipple. I can feel it being sucked on and devoured but no face appears below when I look down. My legs clench together as my juices cover the lining of my panties.

What the fuck is this? What kind of kinky shit is my brain coming up with?

“Come find us, Little Witch.”

Chapter three

My body moves on its own, eyes slowly peeling open trying to register what’s happening. Throwing my comforter to the side, my bare feet meet the cold wooden floor and I rise up from the bed and gravitate to my closet, pulling out a red cape.

Once I register what’s happening, I try to resist the pull. NO. NO. My dream, it can’t be real. Is the summoning real? Was I so naive that this was just a scary folklore story? I scream but nothing comes out. My head is full of pleading and cries but no one can hear me. I’m stuck in a trance that I can’t break. Maybe Aunt June will hear me and stop whatever is going on.

I pull on my cape over my shoulders, hiding my white nightgown underneath. The door to my room creaks open slowly on its own and my feet move without permission through the threshold. My breathing picks up as I pad across the floor down the stairs. My eyes dart towards her door, hoping, praying she will save me but not a sound can be heard from her.

The front door opens slowly and a gust of wind prickles my skin as I involuntarily move out of my safe, sacred home. The leaves crunch under my bare feet as I depart from the front of the cottage and turn toward the direction of the dark forest.

Mist oozes from the edges, stretching toward me to swallow me whole. My legs move audibly towards the death that I feel in my bones that’s waiting for me. It’s like my body has a mind of its own and my soul is levitated out of my body, watching in horror. My body doesn’t react to my pleas, my high heart rate and racing mind.

Stepping into the treeline, the mist rises up, blocking any onlookers from seeing into the forbidden. I feel a jolt, like I'm submerged back into myself and finally have control again. I turn to run back towards my home, but as I collide with the mist, I’m jolted back, hitting the ground hard. My head collides with a rock, causing a cut above my temple.

Radiating pain cascades across my temple and a trickle of substance runs down my cheek. My shaky hand travels to my temple and bright red blood covers the tip. The sight is mesmerizing, almost addicting to watch. Never in my life would I have found the sight of blood captivating. In fact, I usually squirm as soon as it bubbles out of my skin when I accidently prick my finger.

A twig snaps, breaking the spell, causing me to be on high alert. I hustle back to my feet and turn my head in different directions trying to find the source. The sound of running passes by me on the right side and a howl pierces through the wind.

“Fuck!” The word rushes out as I search for a path out of here.

Grasping my pendant that’s still clasped around my neck, I whisper a protection spell to help shield me from this evil place. I can feel the negativity and horrors down to the bone.

“I seek protection and sound my inner alarm. May my body, spirit, and mind be safe from harm. My aura is a shield to help me stay strong. In the name of the goddess, I block the negativity and all that is wrong.” I chant this two more times as I hold onto my pendant, breathing my intentions into it.

“Brooklyn.” The voice reappears, causing me to whip my head up and widen my eyes.
