I start laughing.
“She was horrible.”
Havoc points at me.

“She burned toast.”

“Her biscuits could break windows.”
Trigger says, “Grant made us eat them.”
Doc's mouth twitches.
“He said throwing them away would hurt her feelings.”
Wolf nods solemnly.
“So we fed them to Kane.”
The room goes quiet.
Then Havoc says, “That explains a lot.”

I laugh until my stomach hurts.
Mom would have loved this.
Grant would have loved this.
