It takes a heartbeat or two before I relax.
“Come here. Baby.”
I twist my body until I’m lying flat against him, face to face.
He smiles. “You have some on your lips and chin.”
“I tasted myself. It’s your turn.”
Unlike what just happened, he licks my lips slowly and thoroughly before kissing my cheek and then wiping his thumb over my chin.
“Well?” I ask as I brace myself on his chest.
“Salty. I prefer sweet.”
I can’t help the ear splitting grin on my face. It just takes over. This man’s brain. This man’s ability to love. Witt. And he is witty just in a dry humor kind of way.
I give him a peck on the lips and lay my head on his chest.
“That’s why we go together. The salty and sweet combo.”
He chokes on a laugh and that sound is just as orgasmic as him talking dirty.
“Every day after work, I’m ordering the number sixty-nine combo.”
I hit the jackpot with Witt. He’s the reason I’m in love, and have a career I love. Shown my parents what I love in a way they can understand.
But most of all he’s given me himself. The Witt that most people don’t see.

Wish I could tell you about the game I'm developing, but it would violate our agreement. You'd know exactly who I am.
Sometimes I wonder what knowing your name would be like. This game is becoming a reflection of our conversations.
If you ever play it...
I hope it makes you smile.
The office door swings open almost hard enough to shatter the glass.
"Witt!"
I glance up from my monitor. Maci stands in the doorway, slightly out of breath, her phone still clutched in one hand.
"I just got off the phone with Mary Beth."
I save the report I've been reviewing. "Good afternoon."
Her brain visibly blue screens.
"Oh. Right." She smiles. "Good afternoon."
