"What I gotta do to pay you back?" she skeptically asked. "I ain't like my sisters. I don’t like folks touching me."

"Nothing," I told her. "Except stay your ass away from niggas like Buckee. You do that, and you'll see any home Queens game there is in person."

"Deal!" She excitedly said.

"Go on," Ms. Cassandra said, pushing Lacey away. Once she was gone, Ms. Cassandra grilled Hood and me. "Don't get that girl's hopes up for nothing."

"Never that," I said. "Look, Ms. Cassandra, that nigga Buckee and his daddy?"

"Not shit niggas that need to be dead," she said, waving me off.

"Agreed."

"Y'all gonna wait for Buckee?" She asked, and I nodded. "Park your truck in my backyard. Buckee ain't gonna stop if he sees your car in his driveway. Nigga might be dumb, but he ain't stupid."

"I ain't trying to get you involved."

"You are standing on my porch, talking to me. I'm already involved. Go on and move your shit before he gets back."

Thirty minutes later, we were parked in Ms. Cassandra's backyard waiting on Buckee. The sun was setting, and the block was coming alive. A few kids left Ms. Cassandra's house and ran home.

"Somebody tipped them off," Unc said, breaking the silence in the car. "We should go."

"Give it another thirty," I said while still watching the house. "He’s coming back."

"Or that high ass girl tipped him off," Unc replied.

"She couldn't tell her ass from her face; she ain't said shit," I chuckled.

"You ain't got much time before Corinthians is out of her meeting. The funeral wasn't long."

A car pulled into the driveway, and I leaned forward. Buckee got out the driver's side, and the passenger door opened. Javien Walters Sr. got out. Father to NBA star Javien Walters Jr., who at one point played for the KC Kings. Jr wasn't shit, a no-good nigga who we found out recently had a hand in assaulting one of our friends. The Queens coach, Diara LeBlanc. Javien Jr. and Sr. worked for Robert. Javien Sr. was also Melissa's father. The bitch that pretended to be Cori's friend and set her up to be raped by Robert. Buckee being his child wasn't a surprise. It seemed like Javien Sr. only had one good seed, and that was Fable, Pyrite's fiancé. Javien Jr. trying to sell her to pay his debt was Fable's blessing and the rest of the Walters' downfall.

"Nigga ain't changed, I see," Unc said, watching Sr. "Dumb ass nigga."

"Which one?"

"Both."

We waited until they were on the porch to get out of the car. I tapped on Ms. Cassandra's window as I passed it to let her know we were on the move, then headed to the back of Buckee's house.

"Are we knocking again since I can't kick the door open?” I asked. Hood grunted, and Unc laughed.

"Just open the door, Four," Unc said, pointing to the back door. While we were waiting, he'd picked the lock, so we had a way in.

I opened the door and waited. The first thing I heard was Javien Sr. yelling at Buckee.

"This young bitch too high!" Sr. yelled. "I don’t fuck high pussy!"

"I can be a good girl," Missy slurred. "Logan made me a good girl."

We walked into the living room, guns already in our hands, just in time to see Sr. push her away. He pulled his dick out from his pants and peed on her. "Drink my piss, bitch," he insisted. Missy lay there, mouth open, so high she had no idea what was going on.

"Nigga, put that shit up!" I yelled and shot him in the thigh. Sr. dropped to the ground holding his leg while Buckee struggled to get his gun from his pants. "Too slow." I shot Buckee in the shoulder, making him drop his gun and fall into the wall. I approached Javien Sr., grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, picked him up, and slammed him against the wall. "I know some people looking for you."

I didn't wait for him to reply before I dropped him and kneed him in the face. His head snapped back, hitting the wall, then he slid down the wall. I lifted my foot and kicked him in the face, not stopping until I saw his teeth on the ground. I wasn't done with him yet, but that would do for now. I turned around to see Buckee in a chair, a gun to the back of his head being held by Hood. Unc sat on the couch watching us with a smirk on his face.
