I’ve got one more security measure to countermand before I can make a move for his office, and if all goes to plan I’ll be out of here tomorrow and long gone before the boss gets back.

I hear footsteps coming down the hall, heels clicking against the marble floor and I know exactly who it is before I see her. I keep my body relaxed and hold my phone up, pretending I’m loitering in this hallway only by coincidence.

Ronny’s wearing a sweet perfume, or maybe that’s her natural scent, and my cock takes notice. I’m vibrating in anticipation of my plan finally coming to fruition and it's getting all mixed up with the need I feel whenever she crosses my path.

She’s usually away at college. Usually I can forget about her. Usually I can push my feelings away. But not now. I want to pull her to me and show her what it’s like to be kissed by a real man.

Whatever she’s been doing with those college boys, it has nothing on what I could do to her.

I expect her to ignore me. It’s what she’s been doing for a long time. I’m nothing but her father’s loyal lapdog, the one she might have had a schoolgirl crush on, but it’s long gone.

“V, I mean, Mr. Martin. You’re here.” She’s a jumpy little thing, and I hope she finds her own way out of this world. Her father will destroy her if she lets him. “Shouldn’t you be with Dad?”

When I look up from my phone I almost swallow my tongue. My sweet girl is wearing a slinky dress that leaves nothing to the imagination and the heels are some kind of feat of engineering. And yet she still looks like an angel. “He left me to hold down the fort.” I love the way my name sounds on her tongue. “Since when am I Mr. Martin? You know me better than that.”

Her cheeks flame and I could curse myself. I’m here to steal, not to flirt. And I’m not flirting with some twenty-one year old like I’m still a kid.

“Sorry, V,” she straightens her shoulders and regains a bit of composure. Maybe she’s not such a docile kitten after all. “It’s been awhile.”

I need her to head back to her room or get anywhere that isn’t here. I don’t have time to talk. But the thought of saying something cruel to her to get her to move on is unbearable. She’s not for me, but no matter how bad I am, I can’t make myself hurt her.

“That it has.” We’ve barely talked in three years. I shouldn’t want her the way I do, not when I barely even know her. But when the girl of your dreams walks into your life, she’s impossible to ignore, even if you have to resist.

She looks at me with hope in her eyes, as if she expects me to carry on a conversation, but I don’t encourage her. The clock is ticking and I’ve got work to do.

“I guess I’ll see you around.” Her heels click down the hall and I try to resist looking at her as she walks away, but I can’t.

The dress cups her full ass and I want to reach out and touch it, if she’ll let me.

I tear my eyes away. I’m here to destroy her father. I can’t destroy her too.
