“I’ve only seen about four men. They usually just have someone deliver food. The light on up on the second floor, I think that is where the kids are. It never shuts off and I see the door open a couple of times a day, usually after a food delivery. So at least they are feeding them. I haven’t seen Dallas or Dash, so I can’t say what condition they are in. But I know they are being fed at least right now. I don’t know if that room has a bathroom, I don’t know a lot, brother. But from what I see there are not a bunch of men here. It is like they are just keeping some men here to keep an eye on the kids. I don’t think any of them are the leader or anyone close to being in charge.”

We all nod and look at the rundown farmhouse. I start heading forward without stopping to wait for anyone. My kids are in there and I’m sure as fuck that they are scared. I walk up the step and I hear my brothers behind me as I walk up to the door and kick it in. Then as we walk in the house three men wearing Acid MC cuts run out with their guns pointed. I had mine drawn already and I’m positive my brothers do too. I pull my gun up and shoot one of the men in the leg and the arm. While my brothers do the same to the other two. I then hear little kids screaming from upstairs and I take off running up the stairs. I come to a room where there is a light on and the door is open as I approach the door and look inside the last mother fucker has his gun trained on my kids.

“DADDDDDDDDYYYY!” Dallas screams as she has tears falling down her face. Dash is standing with himself in front of her so that the gun is trained solely on him. My little four year old boy and my sweet little four year old princess have a gun trained at them.

“Look buddy, I thought this was a fucked up idea, but our pres wants your territory. I just want to walk to fuck out of here. Let me go and I’ll let them go.”

“Never planned on taking you out here asshole, put the fucking gun down.”

He takes a minute of hesitation and begins to lower the gun. I do not want to fire my weapon in front of the kids. I do not know what they have seen since they’ve been here. I don’t know what they saw when their grandma died. As the guy starts to lower his gun I rush him and tackle him to the floor. I hear the kids scream in the background and cry. Then I hear them scream and cry calling for their papa, their Uncle Luca and Uncle Tanner. I continue to beat this guy until he is unconscious. He did not put up much of a fight. From what he said he wasn’t really invested in doing anything for this club he is a part of after they went a little rogue. I grab the zip tie from Grim and I hogtie the asshole that held a gun to my kids. I look over at the brothers that are with us and look at Riot, “Put this asshole in the truck with the prospect and the others. Get him out of here.”

The other members that came with us are all huddled around the kids. Dallas is clinging to Bulldog and Dash is holding on to both Thorn and Terror. I walk over to them first and grab Dash and he jumps into my arms and I can feel tears coming down his eyes. I am going to tear up too. I look over at Dallas and she is crying as well, but she is showing no signs of letting go of her papa. So I walk over to her and rub her back while I hold onto Dash. I look her in the eyes, “You okay, baby girl?”

“Mished you, daddy. Mish mama. Can we go home?”

“I missed you too. I missed both of you so much. We are going to take you to see Doc at the hospital, okay?”

She nods her head and squeezes Bulldog. I look over at Terror and ask him to text Savage and Blade to get Sophie over to the hospital. We all head out the door and I turn around to Thorn as he is getting the dynamite ready to blow this fucking shit up.

Terror looks at me, “The other boys at the other places met a little bit more of a challenge than we did. From what I’ve been told there were more men at the warehouses. Shit kind of turned into a bit of a shootout. They didn’t find any of their council members. Which is fucked up because we still need to find them to try and stop whatever the hell this is. But we can talk about all this later, let's get the kids to the hospital so Doc can look at them.”

Looking at both Dash and Dallas you can tell they haven’t been bathed since they were taken, they are dirty and they smell awful, but I could care less because I am just so thankful to have them back in my arms. I let Bulldog climb into the van with Dallas first and then I climb in after her, followed by Terror, Grim and Reaper. Thorn climbs into the driver seat and starts the van up.

Terror looks at me, “I got in touch with Savage and Blade, they said Sophie is a mess with worry. She’s stressing herself out. I told them to get her to the hospital. I’m sure they are going to want to keep the kids overnight and honestly, with the way Sophie has been they are probably going to want to keep her to monitor the baby.”

Dallas lifts her head at that and looks at me, “Mama’s got a baby in her belly?”

Bulldog looks at her and gives her a kiss on her temple and rests his forehead on her shoulder as I look at her. “Yeah baby, you're going to have another little brother or little sister, is that okay?”

She looks at me and smiles and reaches over to my face and grabs my cheeks with her little hands and gives me a big kiss. “I so excited, daddy. Fank you for coming to get us.”

I start to cry and rub my hand over Dash who is still in my lap and then with my other hand I run it down her cheek. “I’ll always come for you, baby girl. Always. Nobody is going to ever take you guys away from us again, okay?”

I’m pretty sure this whole van is crying and we hear a big bang and I know that that fucked up house is no more. We all are quiet on the way to the hospital and I am anxious to get there. This trip seems to be taking forever. All I know is that now that I have the twins back, I’m going to be making sure that Sophie and I get our relationship back on track, by the time we meet our new little bundle of love.

Chapter Seven

Sophie

Sitting at home waiting for that phone call about if they actually found my kids or not is nerve wracking. When we finally got that call to head to the hospital I felt like my whole heart was going to fall out my ass. Wondering if everything was okay. If my babies were hurt and that is why we have to get to the hospital. I can’t wait to lay eyes on my sweet babies after not having them in my arms for four months. All day I was scheduling appointments, just hoping I would not have to cancel. I got all the kids scheduled for counseling because they all should probably be talking to someone after all of this happened. Thankfully we have club members that have family as therapists.

I want to make sure they all feel safe about talking to someone and work through the trauma whether they were the ones taken or not, there has been trauma. I then scheduled counseling for myself and couples counseling for Toby and I. He is right in the aspect that I cannot live without him. He’s been my everything for my entire life. Hopefully someone can help me deal with everything that has happened and we can kind of move forward. Then the kids counselors can help them with everything that has happened this year.

Finally after what feels like days of sitting here and just making phone calls and text messages Savage and Blade tell me they are going to drive me up to the hospital. That everything went well retrieving the kids, they didn’t have a lot of men on the house so it was easy breezy for them, however, some of the other brothers did have gun fights taking out the other warehouses and safehouses. However, minimal injuries happened and no one died at least from our club or the Untamed, thank goodness.

When we finally get to the hospital I run through the doors, I probably should be more careful being pregnant and all. When I see the brothers I run up to them, “Where are they?”

Dad looks at me with tears in his eyes, as much as I hate to see him cry, I can’t be the one to comfort him. He destroyed all the trust and faith I had in him with this whole mess.

“He’s got them up in triage right now to be looked over. I think if you go talk to the nurse at the desk she’ll take you back.” Luca says as he comes up next to me. I finally look away from dad and head up to the reception and give my name and the names of the kids and sure enough they bring me back.

I can tell the moment we get closer to the room they are in because they have a couple brothers sitting outside. I begin to walk as fast as my pregnant belly will let me walk and turn into the room and almost fall to the floor when there are my beautiful babies. I sob escapes me as I look at both of them for the first time in four months and when they hear me both of their little heads shoot up.

“MAMA!” They both yell and they both try to get up, but a doctor and a nurse are looking both of them over. I rush over in between their beds and I want to hold them both so I pick up Dallas despite the nurse telling me to hold on until the doctor can examine her. Toby gives her a look that has her shutting up and I then turn Dallas and myself over and sit on the bed with Dash and bring him to me to snuggle as well. They are both holding me and for the first time in four months I feel peace.

I look up and the doctor and the nurse have left the room and Toby comes over and gets behind me on the bed holding all four of us in his arms. He places a tender kiss on my temple and rubs Dallas’s back, while running his hand through Dash’s hair.

I look at Toby, “What did the doctor say? Are they okay?”
