“I guess we’re the only ones that didn’t know,” I say, my cheeks heating.

“It’s much easier to see things from an outside perspective,” Raivat tells us.

“So… you’re not worried about having two omegas? Or having two omegas who are also into each other?”

“If anything, it’s better,” Brodie confesses. “Why would we not want the two people we love to also love each other?”

I breathe in sharply at the proclamation, my heart skipping in my chest. Casey must feel it too if the slight sweetness in his scent is anything to go by.

Instead of focusing on Brodie’s use of the L word, Raivat continues. “We were always going to have two omegas. Now, we have two omegas who also have each other. It’s the best-case scenario.”

Casey huffs out a breath. “It’s going to be a lot of work for you guys, though. No?”

“Why would it be?”

I bite my lip. “Well, we both have heat cycles to attend to now. So—”

“That’s like seven to eight heats a year,” Brodie realizes, his eyes wide. “That’s…”

“Fucking awesome?” DJ says, his smile blooming.

They all look at each other, sharing in that excitement. Casey and I are floored.

“Look at it this way,” Brodie starts. “We all wanted to help omegas in need. Now we have our own omegas to take care of.”

Raivat leans onto the table, looking at me. “We’re blessed that we were chosen to help you. And now, we can help you both.”

When Casey and I look at each other now, there’s only relief. For years we wondered if this was something we could have, wanting nothing more than to be together in any way we could, and now we don’t have to choose. We can have our alphas and each other. It doesn’t have to be more complicated than that.

“Now we just need to decide what to call us,” Brodie says.

Our new milkshakes are dropped off, and the waitress smiles at us. “Will the check be altogether or divided?”

“Together,” Brodie tells her.

She steps away and DJ looks around the table. “I guess we could start going by our pack name. So people know how to refer to us.”

“Wouldn’t we just be Pack Prescott?” I ask.

Brodie wiggles his shoulders. “I’m not sure, it doesn’t feel right.”

“We’ve been a pack forever, but we’ve never had a name,” Raivat says. “Brodie is a little bit uncomfortable with being considered the official leader.”

DJ nods. “So, what do we do? Go by one of our omegas’ names?”

That statement lingers for a moment before I shake my head. “Not mine, please. I don’t really feel comfortable with that either.”

There’s silence, all three of them thinking.

“I think we should go by Pack Fleiss then,” Brodie announces.

My eyes widen, my gaze darting to Casey. He blinks, shock all over his features. “But… that’s my name.”

He nods. “It is.”

My best friend swallows, the sound rough. “But you’re the prime.”

“I may be the prime, but I’m not the one in charge,” he quips on a laugh. The other two nod in agreement, their demeanors just as serious.
