I followed, in prowl mode. Smirking at his back, I sneered, “You have nowhere to hide.”
He turned, but when he saw me, he stumbled back against the wall. “What are you doing?”
I continued my hunt. “What did you mean by ‘expected’?” Face to face again, a menacing growl left me. “How can you expect something you do not know is coming, unless you did know?”
“W-Wait.”
“Are you an agent?”
His otherworldly eyes widened. “W-What?”
I pressed my body flush with his. “You have only seconds before I kill you.” My palm search for his neck, not in the affectionate way I had moments earlier.
“You’re getting me all wrong.” His hands gripped at my wrist as my fingers wrapped around his throat.
“Two seconds.” I started to squeeze.
“There was a time in school that I—” His voice cut out, and my fingers tightened.
Curious to the rest of the sentence, I released, slightly. “One second.”
He was gasping for air, but his eyes didn’t show fear. Again, they showed something else. “His name was Chance.”
“Whose name?” I could feel Wolf swallow from under my hands. I noticed because I suddenly envisioned my cum slipping down his throat. I slammed my eyes shut, desperate to not be distracted by the man. After reopening them, I shook him. “Who is Chance?”
His strong hands pulled on my wrist, but I was too angry to be overpowered. “My boyfriend.”
Instantly, my ears began to ring. Even though we had a sexual tension brewing between us, this was the last thing I expected to hear. And I took it for a lie. My fingers tightened again. “Do not play with me, my little pet.” I felt he had been this whole time.
He struggled to say, “I was young.” He winced under my grip. “I was scared.” His hands finally fell in surrender. “I broke his heart.”
My fingers loosened. “But… You had me admit to being attracted… You said—”
“I said what I’ve been telling myself ever since Chance, what’s supposed to be heard from a guy like me who has family that doesn’t accept—” He sighed. “My parents, they don’t… My dad, he doesn’t… I didn’t want to be the son that he was ashamed of.”
Baffled, because my father pays me to fuck men, I asked, “What about your wife? Your girlfriend?”
Now, looking back at this time in my life with Wolf, I see his lie for what it was. A cover for all he was hiding. “Girls are hot to me. I love fucking them. But I never forgot Chance.” His eyes closed as if in pain.
“Why lie about it to me?”
His eyes opened. Their beams of grey light warmed me to the core until he said, “I’ve lied to my family about my sexuality. Why would I confide in a human trafficker?”
It wasn’t a question. It was a statement.
As much as it made sense, it still hurt. I released his neck and backed away. “Yes, that is what I am.”
“But all our talks… Now, I see you’re more.”
There was such regret in his voice; I misread him and chuckled in a cruel fashion. “Not even close. I’ve only been fucking your mind before I fuck you.”
With a touch of lust in his expression, Wolf swallowed.
I gave him a warning glare. “You only think you will enjoy it.”
With the wall still holding him up, he said, “Kiss me, and let’s find out.”
Like a coil wound tight enough to break, I rushed forward, slamming my hands against the wall on either side of his head. At that moment, that very second, there was nothing I wanted more than to taste this beautiful creature, but… “I don’t kiss. It’s best you remember that.”
