She’d give anything to keep floating high in this bubble they’d created in Riley’s cabin. The outside world was overrun with piercing edges, sharp stingers, and nosy beaks, threatening to burst it. Ella’s luck was bound to run out sometime.

But as she admired the woman next to her, heart swelling in her chest, she hoped the weightless feeling was enough to keep them both flying high for a while longer.
