Madison wasn’t used to it. Sex carried her in a flurry of clothes and gasps and pleasure. This—whatever this was with Bonnie—sank low into her bones. Every fibre of her body fed on the gentle skim of her fingers and brush of her lips. Any other thoughts left her as she was sucked into a powerful gravitational pull, held completely by her.

Bonnie lifted her knee between Madison’s legs, and she moaned into her mouth as she rocked against her, rubbing Madison’s clit. Bonnie’s fingers tugged at the buttons on her jeans, popping them without breaking the kiss.

Madison was so turned on, she could barely speak.

Which didn’t happen often.

Bonnie licked her hot tongue into Madison’s mouth, and a crack of lightning struck between her legs.

Oh my god…

Slowly, all the tangled knots of desire loosened, flooring her completely like a trapdoor had opened beneath her.

Bonnie smiled into their kiss, fingertips undoing Madison’s zipper and sliding her hand inside her underwear.

Madison exhaled as Bonnie swept the length of her, her wetness loud between Bonnie’s fingers. She pressed back into the counter, absorbed by the touch, owned by the arousal stirring inside her.

“Wow…Madison.” Bonnie blinked up at her, pupils blown wide, mouth swollen from kissing.

“What can I say…” Madison swallowed. “I really like lifts.”

Bonnie shook her head, her lips curving. Then she dropped to her knees, tugging at Madison’s jeans. “Get these off.”

The ache in her pelvis deepened; Bonnie in control was seriously hot. She pushed the denim down her thighs, caught by the swell of emotion in her chest. No one had ever made her feel like this. So out of control. So…wanted. Suddenly vulnerable, her brain misfired, and she grasped the bunched material of her jeans, sticking them to her legs and holding them in place. “Why?”

Bonnie’s hands ran up her thighs. “Why what?”

She didn’t mean to say that out loud. Madison’s heart tightened.

Why does she want me?

She blinked, the image of Bonnie focusing. Bonnie, on her knees. Bonnie, gorgeous, lips swollen from kisses, and looking up at her like she was starved.

And Madison was completely ruining it.

Shut up, stupid brain.

Bonnie’s brows drew together, her fingertips stilling against Madison’s boxers. “Am I making you uncomfortable?”

“No. Of course not.”

But Bonnie stood, her hand finding Madison’s face, dark eyes searching. “Do you want to talk first? We can stop.”

“Fuck no. I just…I don’t know. Ignore me.”

Bonnie’s thumb caressed her jaw, her other hand holding her waist. Each rise and fall of her chest felt like ten years added to Madison’s life. Then both hands reached out to cup Madison’s face, turning her towards her. Madison couldn’t look away from the emotion in Bonnie’s big eyes.

“I do like you, Madison. I like you a lot. I’ve been a coward and a bitch, and—” Bonnie laughed. “And I didn’t think we’d be having this conversation with your trousers halfway down your legs.”

“It’s exactly how I pictured it,” Madison joked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Bonnie combed through Madison’s hair with her fingers, those big steady eyes peering into hers. “I’m not going to run this time,” Bonnie continued. “I promise. I just wanted to thank you for today.”

Relief washed over Madison in a way she didn’t even know she needed, like she’d been treading water for days and then someone threw her a life ring. “You don’t need to thank me for anything. I wanted to help.”

“And that’s exactly why I want to.” A mischievous look passed over Bonnie’s features, her fingertips dipping lower, tracing bare skin to press between Madison’s legs. “Unless you don’t?”

Madison’s throat tightened. “I never said that…”
