“What else?” Andrew asked.

“Just that for now.” Toren pulled Andrew into his arms, studied his face with an inscrutable expression. “And I want all of it with you.”

Air lodged in Andrew’s throat, but he swallowed past it and nodded. “Shower, then.”

He led Toren into the bathroom, and they stripped out of their clothes together like they’d been doing the same thing for more than a week. Andrew turned on the water and checked the temperature, gesturing for Toren to step in. He did, moving to make room for Andrew to come in behind him. They took a long shower together, lots of soap and warm water and fingers against skin exploring in a different way than they had before. Andrew reached between Toren’s legs, back around, and teased his fingers against Toren’s asshole.

“Later,” Toren murmured, forehead resting against the shower wall.

Andrew was insatiable.

Hard again, but he ignored it and rinsed Toren free of bubbles, did the same for himself. Then they were out of the shower and dry enough, and Toren pulled a pair of basketball shorts out of an overnight bag and put them on. Andrew grabbed a pair of well-worn flannel pajama pants, and the two of them stood in front of the dresser, taking stock.

Andrew reached out and swiped his finger over the curve of Toren’s pec, humming at the warmth and softness of his skin. The odds that had conspired to bring them both to that moment were so unlikely, Andrew couldn’t even imagine them. So he stopped trying.

“Couch,” he said instead, and Toren led him to the living room like it was as much his home as it was Andrew’s.

They fell against the cushions, into an easy snuggle with Andrew’s arm around Toren’s back and Toren’s cheek against his shoulder. Andrew turned the TV on, scrolled through a streaming channel until he and Toren found a movie they both agreed on. It was a sci-fi movie about aliens, and it was dark and loud, and Andrew didn’t think Toren was really watching, but he was so comfortable with the other man in his arms, he didn’t want to say anything and ruin the moment.

Halfway through, his suspicions were confirmed when Toren’s breathing grew steady and raspy, the loud inhales that came with sleep. It sounded nice, Andrew thought, and he rested his head against Toren’s and let an early nap take him too. He didn’t wake up until the credits were rolling. Toren’s head had slid off his shoulder and into his lap, and Andrew groaned, the pressure against his dick unexpected and warm.

The clock on his cable box told him it was barely nine-thirty, which was far too early for either of them to actually be asleep for the night. Gently, he shook Toren until he murmured something unintelligible and sat up, swiping his hand across his mouth like he’d been drooling.

“Did I fall asleep?”

“We both did.” With Toren off him, Andrew stretched his legs in front of him and his arms above him. “Clearly we needed some extra rest.”

“Apparently,” Toren agreed, sucking his tongue against the roof of his mouth. “Water, then.”

Andrew watched, unable to look away as Toren made himself at home, heading to the kitchen and bringing back water for them both. They sat again on the couch, almost awkwardly, and Andrew couldn’t help but laugh.

“Is this weird?” he asked.

Toren’s eyebrows scrunched together, but in the end, he shook his head. “What’s weird, I think, is that it’s not weird.”

“I thought the same thing.”

Toren set his glass on a coaster on the coffee table, lifting one leg onto the couch and angling his body so he faced Andrew’s profile.

“Is it time to have this conversation?” Andrew asked, shifting his body toward Toren in return.

“Probably.”

“Are we together, then? You and me.”

Toren nodded.

“Just us,” Andrew clarified. “I know the cheating thing is hot, but—”

“Not on each other,” Toren said.

“Not on each other.”

“Just us,” Toren repeated his earlier statement.

“I’ll get tested Monday.”

“That’s what you said before.”
