“Yeah? You like that?”
I lift my head as much as possible, my hands gripping his face, forcing him to look at me. “Yeah, baby boy, I fucking love this. Don’t stop. Get us there.”
His expression is molten, melting me right down to my damn core. And that’s what sets me off. The damn look in his eyes that tells me he feels this just as intensely as I do. He’s just fighting like hell against it.
My orgasm crashes into me, my head dropping back down to the floor. Cum shoots from my dick, making a mess of his hand and length. Eli makes a noise that is half-growl, half-moan, as he uses my cum to continue to stroke us. He’s right behind me, hips stuttering as he unloads, his entire body shaking. My hands rub up and down his ribs as I whisper to him. “Such a good boy. Fuck, look at you. So fucking good, baby.”
Eli releases us, collapsing on top of me, resting his head on my chest.
“Fuuuck.” He chuckles as I wrap my arms around his broad shoulders. “That’s one hell of a way to wake up.”
I laugh in return. “Yeah,” I whisper, dropping a kiss to the top of his head. “Waking up to you is the best way.”
I watch Eli out of my peripheral, knowing he probably feels like he’s doing the walk of shame right now as we enter the dining hall where our entire team is already eating breakfast. I cringe at the thought of him feeling that way.
Together, we grab our plates and fill them with scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and hashbrowns and slide into our seats across from each other at one of the tables. He seems to be walking stronger today on his knee, which is a good thing considering today’s game.
“Where’d you two go last night?” Rome says with a mouthful of eggs that immediately makes me not want to eat my own. Eli’s eyes flash to mine, and if he had food in his mouth, he’d probably have choked. Goddamn, I wish he wasn’t so cute when flustered. I can see the flames dancing in his eyes right now, the silent pleading for me not to fuck with him.
I pick up my juice, smirking over the rim of the glass. “Spent the night blowing someone’s mind.”
Everyone’s heads turn in my direction, and Eli’s eyes practically bug out of his skull.
“Yeah, right. You wish, Crowe. Did you really just end up crashing? You didn’t even come back down for dinner,” Dean adds.
I shrug. “Wasn’t hungry. Our parents called, and this one needed to be forced to elevate his knee with the threat of taking him to Mr. Devereux. So, I was on babysitting duty all night at our parents’ request, even though he’s clearly fine.” I motion to Eli, as if to show that my claims are correct. “Plus, I didn’t want to have to bond with you people any more than the schedule requires,” I joke.
“Rude!” Jacob yells through his cupped hands.
“Honest!” I yell back with a smile.
Coach walks past our table without looking our way, and every conversation instantly stops. Eli’s posture straightens, and I know I’ve got to make sure today goes off without a hitch. He’s got too much riding on it for me to fuck it up for him.
Eli leans forward, his voice low. “Who’s your target for today?”
A slow grin spreads across my face. “If I told you, I’d have to spoon you.”
Eli snorts into his coffee, and I can’t help but laugh. That slow spread of crimson flushes his cheeks, and I so badly want to yank him over the table and kiss him senseless. I still can’t believe he kissed me.
“That sounded worse than you intended, I hope,” Silas interjects.
I raise an eyebrow. “Did it?”
“We’re talking about Assassin,” Eli adds, lifting the cheap plastic spoon from his tray, then standing up to talk to everyone. The team quiets, giving him their full attention, and watching it happen in real time makes me so fucking proud. He’d make one hell of a captain. I get up while Eli talks, passing our spoons from the bag I brought. Did I rig this game, too? Sure did.
“Today’s game is Assassin. Campus-wide, melee style, plastic spoons only. Get your target before they get you. Once you do, you collect their spoon and get their target. Person at the end of the game who has the most spoons wins.”
“We know the rules!” Kai yells.
“Good. Starts now.”
There’s a moment where everything is silent, team members looking around at each other as the gameplay settles over them. Then all hell breaks loose. Spoons are grabbed, and everyone takes off in different directions. Eli sits back down across from me as I chomp on a piece of bacon.
“So, what’s your strategy?”
“Everyone expects people to hide in bushes or spring across campus.”
“So?”
