I quickly tucked it between two pillows before crawling back to my alpha. Lines of muscle and a light smattering of dark hair covered his chiseled chest. His fingers worked at the zipper of his jeans.
“No,” I hissed, slapping his hands away. “I’ll do it.”
A laugh mixed with a growl in his chest. I ignored it, shoving his jeans and briefs down his tree-trunk thighs. My hands froze over the sculpted muscles. His cock slapped against his stomach, thick and long. I licked my lips, eyeing his knot at the base.
His callused fingers closed around the base as he lightly stroked himself.
“Like what you see, Omega?”
Before I could answer, the door creaked.
I shivered, my lashes feathering against my cheeks. Caramel apples and a hint of clove.
Alpha. Shane. My beta. Ty.
Hands reached for me, but they weren’t fast enough. I sprinted past Jason, colliding into Ty’s body.
“Woah. Easy, sweetheart.”
His hands landed on my hips. I huffed, blowing a curl off my face. Without saying anything, I yanked off Ty’s shirt, flexing my other hand at Shane in a gimme motion. Ty’s gaze darted to Jason.
Something silent passed between them. My beta surrendered, giving me all his clothes until he was naked. He was beautiful—lithe, lean muscle framing him in all the right ways. Shane added his clothes to my pile. I bounded back into my nest, working in the new goodies.
I blinked. The room came back into focus. My hands twisted in my lap as I fell back onto my ass, staring at my nest. A cold snap of anxiety mixed with the heat in my limbs. I whimpered. The tangled mess of silk, wool, and cotton looked wrong.
All wrong.
I didn’t know how to fix it. A high-pitched omega whine burned like whisky, making my ears ring.
My pack rushed to my side, pausing at the edge of the bed. My alphas purred. Hands gripped my arms, squeezing me.
“What is it, love?” Shane asked.
“Wrong. Wrong. Wrong,” I sobbed, my lip trembling as I looked at them through glassy eyes. “I don’t know what I’m doing. The nest isn’t right. Not good enough. I’m not good enough.”
“Enough,” Jason ordered, the hint of a bark in his command.
I shuddered, snapping my mouth shut as tears dried on my cheeks.
“Can we come into your nest, Omega?” Jason asked, his Apex barely leashed.
My mouth opened, but no sound came. I nodded instead. Jason moved first, kneeling on the mattress. The bed sank under his weight, and my other alpha and beta crawled in beside us.
Jason cupped my cheek. I nuzzled his palm, scenting him.
“Good girl, Mia. Such a good girl. And this isn’t wrong. This nest is beautiful and perfect. Just like you. Do you know what I think was missing?”
“What?” I sniffed.
“Your pack. What about now? Does it still feel wrong?”
I swallowed. My throat itched with the motion, tiny scratches feeling like shards of glass moving down my esophagus. Ty treated me with a dimpled—almost shy—smile. I hugged my middle. The nest was better, but my bones hummed.
Another cramp tore across my middle. I whined, holding myself tighter. I felt like a stranger in my body.
Soon, I’d be more my omega than me. The haze clouded my mind, my lucidity waning.
“I’m scared,” I whispered.
