It didn’t take long to realize I had a problem. I couldn’t move my arm, and her hand was curled dangerously close to my raging morning wood.
“Stop fucking staring at me,” she snarled into my chest.
I kissed the top of her head and pulled her hand to my mouth to kiss the back of it. “Morning, angel,” I said.
She lifted her head and glared up at me. “Did you do that so I wouldn’t feel your boner? Because I can see it.”
This fucking woman.
I tilted her head up and kissed her softly. Her grumbling subsided when I deepened the kiss. Was it possible that I had tamed the grouchy hurricane that was Roxanne Desjardins? Maybe all I had to do was give her multiple orgasms to get her to stop hating me.
“Benny,” she sighed when I pulled away from her.
She shifted so she was no longer crushing my arm, and part of me missed the pressure of her curled up in my arms. The other part of me beamed at the way my name came off her lips. Like I could forget how she moaned it in my ear last night when I lifted her up in my arms and pressed her against the shower wall. Banging her against the wall with her legs wrapped around me used to be what I imagined while I was in the shower. I never imagined I’d get the chance to do it with her.
“What are you thinking about?” she asked.
“Fucking you,” I answered honestly.
There was a beat of silence, and then she exploded with laughter. “Benny, holy fuck, don’t tell me that!”
I shrugged.
“What time do you want to head out?” I asked. We had a long drive back to Philly, but I wanted to go somewhere before we left.
She chewed her lip. “Sooner rather than later, but I need coffee first. Why?”
“I want to take you somewhere.”
“Where?”
“Surprise,” I said. If I told her I wanted to take her to the rink and get her back on the ice, she might cut me.
She rolled her eyes.
I slapped her ass playfully while she got out of the bed and stretched. Her glare could have cut glass, but I didn’t care. “I’ll order breakfast, and then we can go before we head back,” I said.
“Okay!” she called from the bathroom.
I didn’t realize that after breakfast, she was gonna ride me again until I was spent. Maybe it wasn’t just me who couldn’t get enough, but I wasn’t gonna complain about it.
“No. Absolutely not!” she yelled at me.
She crossed her arms over her chest while she stood outside the rink. I carried her skates in my hands, and I realized I hadn’t thought this through because I needed to rent skates for myself.
Rox was still wearing my Bulldogs sweatshirt since it was cold this morning. I liked her in my sweatshirt; it made her seem like she was mine. Even though she’d made it clear this thing between us could only be casual. Rox didn’t deserve to be my dirty little secret, but if that’s what she wanted, I had to roll with it. Even if I didn’t like it.
“Rox, you miss it, right?” I asked.
She nodded solemnly. “So much.”
“Then you need to get back on the ice.”
“But...today?”
“You can do this,” I reassured her.
“Benny, it’s too soon. I’m not ready.”
