“You ready?” Kelsey asked.

“Gimme a minute. I need to change.”

She grinned at me. I wasn’t surprised when she followed me upstairs into my childhood bedroom. I shrugged off my boots and looked through my suitcase. I found a pair of jeans and a long-sleeved black shirt.

My sister sat on the bed and waited impatiently for me to say something while I changed. I went to take off my underwear, when I remembered I couldn’t find them this morning.

“Shit.”

“What’s up?”

I grimaced. “Forgot my underwear.”

She laughed. “So, are you going to tell me about it?”

I shook my head, put on a new pair of panties, and changed out of my skirt into jeans.

“Why? Was it bad?” she asked.

“God, no. It was amazing. You know how I have trouble…you know…”

I felt heat rise up on my cheeks. I wasn’t comfortable talking about this, but my sister had no shame about telling me sometimes you had to train men, like she did with Brian. I didn’t need to know that, but Kelsey had no filter.

“Coming?” she asked.

“Yeah. Not actually the case.”

Her face lit up. “Shut your face! Only he can do it?”

I grimaced and changed my shirt. I sipped on my coffee. “I thought something was wrong with me.”

Kelsey snorted. “Nah. I thought you had really bad taste in men. I figured Declan was vanilla in bed, though. He’s all nice and orderly.”

My face colored at the thought of all the stuff we did last night. Declan was not vanilla. It wasn’t like he was a Dom with a sex dungeon or anything, but a guy with wrist restraints and a separate set of leather handcuffs wasn’t any shade of vanilla.

“Can we go?”

“No, tell me more!” she begged.

“Later!”

“Party pooper!”

“You’re the one who asked me to go with you and the kids to get pumpkins!”

“Yeah, but now I want to know about what happened with you and Declan.”

I shrugged. “It was just sex. Nothing else. Can we go?”

We walked down the steps and my niece Cora ran to me. “Auntie Lila!”

“Hey, kiddo. Wanna go pick out pumpkins?”

“I’m gonna pick the biggest one you’ve ever seen!”

I laughed and let her lead me out to the car. My sister glared as we said goodbye to Mom, telling me our conversation wasn’t over.
