“Landon, don’t think about it. We’ve got to concentrate on saving the one they did take. That’s our mission. Saving him and saving the Princeton boys.”

“And getting us some Kraken,” Ryker spit out.

All five men nodded.

This time, just Kostya’s phone rang.

“Is it Jase, or do you have a location for Kaan?” Kostya asked.

“Jase still hasn’t checked in.”

“That doesn’t make sense. The meeting minutes should have been provided at the start of the meeting and that was two hours ago.” Kostya ran his fingers through his short blond hair.

“I’ve got nothing for you regarding Jase. I do have Kaan’s address. He has a compound on the North side of town, right across from a school. The shit of it is, the school is due to let out in thirty minutes, so you need to wait until after that before you go in.”

“Understood. Text the address and coordinates. We’ll get in place.”

“It’s kind of isolated, so your vehicles are going to stand out,” Gideon warned.

“Good to know.”

“Wait, don’t hang up,” Gideon stopped him. “I’m also sending you names and pictures of Frank Sykes, his lieutenants, and eight other members of the Kraken elite. I’m sending them to the group text.”

“Thanks.”

Kostya hung up and looked around at his men. “We still take two vehicles, in case we need additional methods of escape.” There was a ping on everyone’s phone and Ryker looked down and saw that Gideon had sent the address and coordinates for the compound.

“We head out now, do reconnaissance. Then we’ll get into position.”

“Who are we taking out?” Ryker asked.

“We want information from Kaan Polat to find Mehmet and Hamza who we think have the Princeton boys. Which is exactly what Kraken intends to do, only using his nephew as leverage. I want to get to Kaan before Kraken shows up, so that the boy can be saved.”

“What about school getting out?” Landon asked.

“We’ll see how we can get into the compound once we’re there, so maybe it won’t disturb the schoolkids.” Kostya turned to Ryker. “Ryker, I want you to keep track of Kraken’s ETA to get here from Batman. I need a countdown.” Kostya looked at his watch. “The way I figure it, they have about an hour and fifteen minutes to make it to the compound, so you stay on top of that for us, okay?”

Ryker nodded.

“Let’s move out.”

It was a hell of a lot easier than any of them anticipated. Apparently, Kaan really was the king of the mafia and had no enemies, because he sure as hell didn’t take his security seriously. Ryker had climbed up the pistachio tree in the back of the compound and just saw a fountain, some chickens, flowers, and a limousine. Not one single guard. Granted, the lock on the gate looked substantial, but a little C-4 could take care of that in less than five seconds.

“There is no security inside the courtyard,” Ryker whispered into his mic.

“I’ve got one guard here at the front gate. He’s playing on his phone,” Landon said.

“Nothing in the back,” Kostya reported.

“I’m on the roof of the school. I see two people in the top bedroom,” Linc said. “It’s just one small woman. I don’t see any men, and neither of the women look like guards.”

“How the fuck did you get there?” Ryker demanded to know. Linc was always getting on the highest ground possible with his goddamn sniper rifle, but how the fuck he managed to do it was a fucking mystery.

“Not telling,” Linc said.

“I found nothing on the east side,’ Nolan said.
