Clint and Jace hold him like he’s the most precious thing they’ve ever seen. Zaire takes us to the table and bends me over it.
“Now watch them. Remember what you just saw.”
And then Zaire relentlessly claims me, his thick cock hammering into me, stealing my screams and cries and reminding me again that where there is tenderness, there is passion and intensity, possession and obsession.
By the time I’m screaming through an orgasm, clawing at the polished wood, my first knot from this pack locking us together, the mood has changed, and the alphas are hungry again.
Just not for brownies.
Chapter 25
Zaire
Spectre leans against my leg, and I have to admit, it makes everything a little less…awful. The crowd is heaps bigger this time, and Lorelei is holding court effortlessly.
Do not freak out. Control your breathing. It’s fine. You can do this.
Spectre grumbles unhappily and steps heavily on my foot. He weighs a bit, it hurts. I glance down, and he looks up at me with an almost knowing doggy grin, like ‘see, I got this. Try harder to have a break down.’
Okay, game point to you, doggo.
“Our third date is specially crafted. It’s all about luck and love and trust. Communication and a scary house.”
“What does that even mean?” Jace grumbles.
“You aren’t feedin’ us again, are you?” Clint shouts out. “I should have known. This was false advertising!”
Lorelei hunches down, her shoulders curling, her face collapsing, rage fairly striking out of her in lightning bolts.
“Clint!”
Just his name, said in such terrifying decibels, has most people stepping back.
“Dates come with food!” Clint says reasonably.
“Dates are supposed to pay for their food.”
Clint points at her. “Uh-uh, I didn’t invite them, you invited me. This is your date, and therefore, by the rules of the date, you are supposed to feed me.”
“CLINT!” Lorelei shouts, looking like she might cry. “Eat before you come.”
“That doesn’t help me now, does it?”
“Franco! Feed him, please.”
Someone thrusts a chocolate bar into his hands. Clint looks at it for a long moment and then looks up at Lorelei.
“Bit cheap, don’t you think?”
She grabs her hair, leans back, and howls.
Clint innocently eats his chocolate bar, watching her like she’s a really interesting TV show.
“Felix, control your alpha.”
Felix raises an eyebrow. “I decline.”
“You…you what?” Lorelei says in shock.
