Chapter forty three
Derek
You need to let go of her.
Realistically speaking, that voice in the back of my head is probably right. But I couldn’t give a shit about it.
It feels too good to have her wrapped around me and in my arms at the same time.
Mine.
Shit, this possessive side of me is really taking over lately. Refusing to let her walk around alone, refusing to let her make her own breakfast, and now refusing to even untangle myself from her.
How likely is it that I’ll be able to make her breakfast while having her attached to my front?
Jesus, that’s pathetic.
I force myself to loosen the death grip I have on her and step back, pulling out of her in the process.
While I fix my joggers back into place, Ivory slips from the counter, rushing into the bathroom.
I have half a mind to yell after her, but I don’t. What we just did was risky as fuck. I don’t need to make the odds worse by making her hold on to the cum I just filled her with just to satisfy my kink.
Just yours?
Yeah. From the way she moaned—and came— I’d say I’m no longer the only one in the room with a breeding kink.
Which means we need to be extra careful now to not cross any lines.
What lines? There are barely any left.
Grabbing my coffee from the top shelf, I permanently silence my head.
“What do you have there?”
Ivy’s voice is right behind me and when I turn to look at her I find her in my shirt from earlier.
Motherfucker—
It’s huge on her. And it does nothing to calm myself down.
“Coffee.” I say, but my voice gets stuck in my throat, only a rumbling growl making it through my clenched teeth.
“I thought you didn’t drink coffee?”
Ivory’s head tilts to the side, her hair falling sideways and down her frame.
If she keeps this up, I’ll take her for a second round without questions.
“I don’t.”
Her confusion is adorable. The little scrunch in her nose and the slight narrowing of her large, blue eyes.
“Come here.”
I beckon her closer and she steps to my side.
“This isn’t regular coffee. It’s an array of beneficial, dried mushrooms.” I explain, holding the metal box out to her. “Where coffee only spikes the cholesterol, this actually supports the brain in its activity.”
