“Not toward you.”

“No, but apparently toward a lot of other people.”

Something occurs to me.

“Why aren’t your hands more damaged?”

His shrug is quick. “I was mostly hitting Guy with the side of my fist before Dex intervened.”

“But normally though?”

Acting like he didn’t hear me, Khaos begins gathering our dirty dishes. Is he even done eating?

“When people fight, there’s usually damage to their hands. Split knuckles, swollen fingers, broken bones. You like to fight so much but your hands don’t look like it.”

Turned toward the sink, he says, “I don’t fight that much and…you don’t see my hands all the time. Your head was so far up Guy’s ass, you probably didn’t see much of anything.”

I don’t know about that. It’s true we didn’t see each other every day, but whenever we did have a run-in, I noticed Khaos. His hands never showed signs of a recent fight.

But he’s right about one thing. I did miss a lot while I was with Guy, including his affair.

“Well, my head’s out now,” I say, hopping off the counter and joining Khaos at the sink.

He regards me with an arched brow. “You know how to clean dishes?”

I roll my eyes and open the dishwasher. “That’s what this is for.”

Together, we clean the kitchen, then head down to the pool.

Just as I go to strip, Khaos appears in front of me, gripping the hemline of the hoodie.

“This is mine.”

His hoodie. He’s only taking it back.

Except he doesn’t. Instead his knuckles massage my pussy, circling my clit until my breath gets caught in my lungs.

I clutch his strong biceps as my legs become weak, all the blood rushing to my core.

“Khaos?”

“You know who I am this time?”

“Uh-huh.”

“Good.” Spitting on two of the fingers on his free hand, he shoves it down my bottoms, taking the place of his other one.

The added moisture, along with the lack of a barrier, causes a whole new set of sensations.

“Oh, God. Kh-Khaos,” I moan.

“You want to come for me?”

“Mm-hm.” I drop my forehead to his chest.

Palming the side of my head with that first hand, his thumb pushes my chin up.

“I want you looking at me when I make you come.”
