Ripped jeans.
A touch over six feet tall.
No room for weapons on his person, unless he got a pocket knife through security.
Which is likely…
I got in with a handgun in my clutch.
I mean, I had it covered with tampons and a pad. But it was a risky bet to take with a security guard I haven’t researched. He could have examined my purse more, though I was hoping the feminine products would make him think twice. I told him I was meeting my girlfriends for a night out. He waved me through without telling me to get in line.
So… Yeah. I got a gun in here. Clumsy could have easily brought a knife.
He looks like he’s here for fun, which allows me a moment to stop worrying. I’ll reconsider when we’re alone.
Until then… I ease closer, dancing to the upbeat music when I accidentally bump into him. Neither of us stops moving. We just turn into each other, grinding like the rest of the crowd.
He’s a fantastic dancer, too.
“It sucks that I have to kill you,” I tell him, my tone as close to apologetic as I can get it.
“What?” he shouts back.
“My drink,” I say, pointing to the empty cup on the floor. “Thought I spilled it on you.”
“Oh, shit,” he replies. “Need a new one?”
I nod. “Meet me in the hallway. Over there.”
There’s got to be an office somewhere in this building, or a supply closet, with a locking door. I’m not picky. Killing him in private is just so much easier than in a crowded room like this.
No research is making me anxious, though.
If Clumsy the Intruder has a mate, then he’ll turn me down. But I’m assuming since he’s here—rubbing his dick on me through two layers of clothing—he doesn’t have a mate.
He pulls me toward the bar, and I tug my hand out of his.
“Hallway,” I encourage. “This way.”
He takes a minute to catch up with my words. “We can get out of here.”
“I’m not done dancing. It’s still early.”
We get through the crowd, and I stop to flash him a flirty grin. “Unless you’re not interested in—”
“In the hallway?”
“There’s an office or something around here.” I shrug. “Or the bathroom.”
He points beyond the bathrooms. “I’ve seen the owner come out of there before.”
“Perfect,” I murmur, tugging him behind me.
“What if he’s in there?” Clumsy stresses, but he doesn’t pull away.
I roll my eyes, though he can’t see.
If the entire scenario was different… This would be way more fun with Walker. Well, aside from the killing part.
