Renovating The Heart Of A Beast

“Nigga, why you driving behind the pigs so damn fast! Slow this bitch down!” I looked over at Honor and smirked. She had her feet pressed all hard against the passenger side floor like she was on the driver’s side. It looked like she was trying to push down on imaginary brakes. Holding on to her seat belt tight she looked over at me like she was scared. Shit was comical as fuck, I accelerated higher and sped up.
“Chill the fuck out, they going fast, so I’m going the same speed as them. How can they pull me over when I’m behind them. They speed I speed.” I turned the music up and switched lanes, following what the cops did. I was in a rush to go break a niggas face in.
Niggas knew that Honor was my General, head bitch in charge. I had too much going on mentally, legally and illegally to hold niggas nuts and guide them along the way.
“You know I handled that nigga, right?” Honor turned my music down. “Why the fuck you keep playing this old slow ass song.” I shrugged off her question. Smokey Robinson’s “The Agony For The Ecstasy” was one of my favorite songs. I usually listened to the shit to calm my nerves. My dad put me on to it when I was a young nigga.
“You a female, and my General. If a nigga put hands on any female that I rock hard with. Don’t matter if they look like a nigga or a fucking termite, he gone have to answer to me.” I tightened my grip on the steering wheel.
Honor could hold her own; she was as lethal as me when it came to running shit. It’s just that niggas had a hard time adjusting and following her direction because she was indeed a female. Honor kept shit organized and she stayed on niggas necks making sure they didn’t slack.
“I’m saying it’s good because for the past two weeks you been acting unhinged as fuck. I normally call meetings for the gang so you don’t have to waste time, Debo. You can possibly go up in this muthafucka killing more of our men that we actually need right now.” She passed me the blunt that she damn near sucked down. I took it, I needed something potent to get my mind right. I stopped taking percs because I noticed when I was fucking on Praylah, I couldn’t bring myself to nut even though I wanted to.
“I ain’t that cold.” I picked my phone up in the middle console and answered it.
“Alesia, what’s good?” I blew smoke from my nose already knowing my assistant was about to give me an ear full.
“Nigga don’t what’s good me.” She spoke low into the phone. “I need you here at the office no later than Friday or I’m coming to find you. There’s paper work that you need to sign off on and the board would like to present some things to you.”
It was good owning shit and being a business man. It was all the foot work and signing off on shit then sitting in long ass meetings with tight ass suits that got on my fucking nerves.
“Sign off on the shit, Alesia damn! I got other things that need my attention. Tell the board I’m not open to new ideas or projects right now.” I hit the blunt again and pulled into an alley. This nice ass two story house on the Eastside of LA looked like a nice cozy family home from the outside. Niggas from around the way knew it served as headquarters. I had shit built underneath this home that nobody knew about except Ream and Solo and now Honor.
“This is not up for debate, Debo. I handle everything so you won’t have to show face as much. Remember this is your company and it requires your time and attention. If you want-”
“Somebody to kiss your ass and do your job… find another slave assistant.” I finished her sentence because she loved trying to fake threaten me. “Yea I hear you light bright. I’ll see yo thick ass Friday. Twerk something for a nigga and make it worth my time since you so desperate to see me.” She started cursing and yelling, I hung right up in her face. Alesia’s ass stayed having a mini heart attack about my company. That’s why I gave her the position, she went above and beyond and kept shit multiplying.
“Remind me to send her crazy ass a flower arrangement today and a spa card. They over there stressing her.” I tapped the top of my glove compartment and Honor opened it passing me my nine-millimeter.
“What’s up with that nigga Sosa?” I asked before getting out of the car. The sun in Cali was shining hard, I reached back in my Maserati and grabbed my Balenciaga glasses. Opening up the back door, I snatched up my white Balenciaga shirt and threw that on next. I didn’t want any wrinkles in my shit.
“Niggas looking for him.” Honor walked around the car and gave me an I told you so look. I scanned the backyard and frowned at empty bottles of liquor and cups scattered on the grass.
“I told you what the nigga was gone do. He did good with the first two bricks, gave the nigga four of them birds and now he a week late.”
“A week late?” I calmly asked, that made Sosa no longer someone I called a homie. What’s crazy is I’d off a nigga for being a day late with my money. Four bricks of yae was worth his life. Just one brick could put a nigga on, especially after a nigga stepped on it and broke it down. My shit was pure as fuck. I normally sold my shit for twenty-one thousand a brick, but gave Sosa a deal, that was fifteen thousand a brick.
“Yo veins popping out yo neck Hulk smash.” Honor tried to play it light but I didn’t give a fuck about her dry ass jokes. I bit on my bottom lip to calm myself; I felt like exploding. See, you always need me to guide yo dumb ass! I told you about this nigga! Shaking my head to rid myself of that voice, I picked up my size ten foot and kicked the back gate in, knocking it flat on the grass.
“Aye Debo, calm yo ass down Blood!” Honor was right behind me trying to calm me with words that I ignored.
“Don’t tell me to calm down, Honor. Make the call and locate that nigga. I want him found in under an hour.” I knocked on the back door and one of my young goons on door duty opened up with an AK in his hands.
“Go clean the front and back fuckin’ yard nigga.” I marched past him and walked into the front room. As far as I was concerned, I didn’t have much time to be here. That’s why I kept my car running so I could do what I had to do and jump right back into my whip and leave.
Entering the room, I chuckled lowly as I eyed every nigga acting frantic when they were just smoking and lounging around. Money was scattered along with empty food containers. I turned around and looked at Honor, her face mirrored mine. Looking at her swollen lip reminded me on why I was here.
I looked over at Dmack and nodded my head at him.
“Honor, why you and this nigga Dmack get into it?” I calmly asked as she stood next to me. I already knew what happened and I believed Honor over all of these niggas. I just wanted to see what his bitch ass had to say.
“Debo, that bitch be tripping. Treating niggas like-” I shook my head no and he stopped talking. See I was a different kind of disrespectful nigga, some would call it ignorance. I lived up to every word that a person had to say bout me. Niggas like Dmack was fake and snake as fuck. I had been waiting on a reason to justify my actions by killing this bitch ass nigga.
“See that? How another man can shut you the fuck up right on que? Treating you like the pussy ass nigga you is?” I tilted my head and he balled his face up.
“What nigga? You ain’t a pussy? Cause hitting on some pussy seems real fishy.” I chuckled and stepped a little closer to him.
“If you ain’t a pussy stand the fuck up nigga and prove to us that you not a pussy.” I removed my gun from my waist and gave it to Honor.
