“Aye nigga, I’m sitting here with ya young hot headed nigga.” I shook my head and smiled because I knew who Ream was talking to. It was Solo, his right hand man, the same nigga I bumped heads with when I was forced to join the dynasty.

“Yeap you already know, but I’m proud of the nigga on the real. I just want you to recap how hard it was to get through to this nigga. How this nigga came in causing problems and shit.” We all shared a laugh.

“I remember like it was yesterday. You was a young and dumb ass nigga man. I saw some shit in you though. I honestly felt like one day this day would come, when you were mature enough to know that you had a solid family behind you. You never even had to be apart of this shit. As a man, I had to let you see it for yourself though. You know how far we came with this shit.” He reminded me, and I did. Solo started to recant what happened a couple of years ago….

Chapter Thirty-Nine

SOLO

Past…..

Ream was really feeling this chick Mattea, we sat inside of her parent’s living room. Waiting for this nigga Debo to appear. Beast sat in front of us with a permanent scowl on his face. Something about the nigga was off, nigga looked like he killed people for fun. Ream broke everything down to the nigga about how his son was still caught up in selling drugs. The only difference was, that he wasn’t stepping on our toes. He was hustling small-time that didn’t fuck with my side of the business. The plan was to place him under my wing, let him become my shadow. Teach him the real game, and then see if he still wanted parts.

Beast only concern was his son finishing school which was understandable. I would force the lil nigga to go to school and whatever else his daddy required. He was the first nigga that stole from us, and still had the chance to be breathing. Thanks to Reaper and whatever magic her pussy shot out on Ream.

“My son, has to make a decision. There’s no way I’m giving you my blessing. The only thing I can give today is my understanding. He is a grown man and if this life is something he choses I won’t stop him. At the same time it doesn’t mean I have to approve.” His stern voice boomed throughout the living room as he stopped talking once Debo walked in the room with a mug on his face.

“I just don’t want any misunderstandings, Debo is still in them streets although it’s not effecting my organization, in the near future it could. I figure why not give him a chance to redeem himself? Pretty soon, rather you all like it are not, I will be a part of this family.” Ream smiled smugly as Beast rose to his feet.

“You coming into my home to disrespect me, boy?” His eyes turned dark as he pulled his gun from his waist. Shit could go left at any moment as I pulled mine, Debo pulled out next.

“Stand down Solo.” Ream calmly stated.

“I’m coming to you man to man, I could have snatched this lil dumb nigga up and forced him into my organization. Everything I spit is straight facts, I figure, I step to you about your daughter since my feelings for her has grown even stronger. Since you don’t want to teach your son how this shit works, Solo will. It’s a win, win situation for both sides.” He smiled as Beast lowered his gun.

“I don’t need guidance from none of you niggas, no offense dad.” Debo’s nostrils flared.

“You don’t have a choice!” We all said in union as I decided to take over the conversation.

“Bitch you thinking small! When you need to be thinking big, think big bitch!” Beast and Ream looked at me as I watched both of their lips twitch. Next, they fell out laughing hard as me and Debo joined. I got that shit from laying up with Asia’s mean ass. I was laid up with her a couple of nights ago, watching her scroll through her Instagram timeline, and saw some funny-looking nigga yelling at the screen talking about “You need to be thinking big bitch.” A crooked smile covered my face as Ream and Beast looked at me still laughing.

“Meme ass nigga.” Ream chuckled as I flicked him off.

“On some real shit tho, like that funny nigga on Instagram was saying, you need to be thinking big nigga. You come from a wealthy family, you out here selling nickels and dimes nigga. Most lil niggas that enter the streets don’t have a choice so they gotta get it by any means necessary. In order for them to eat, they have to go through niggas like me first. Ream is at the top of the food chain; nothing moves without his weight or say so. You need to get that stick out yo ass and feel honored that we are offering our helping hand. A nigga like me works alone, I see potential in you. That’s the only reason I’m agreeing to take you on as my shadow nigga. This is what happens when you go against your parent’s wishes.” This nigga had me giving speeches and that was something I didn’t do. I didn’t even like holding long conversations with niggas.

“Either you get down with us, or you step down from the streets altogether. I’ll make it so no other plug or connect ever do business with you. So, you will have no choice but to find another Armando.” Ream pulled his phone out and smiled at whatever he saw. “You know what happened to Armando. You don’t move as smart as you think you do, your easy to touch, if you weren’t, I wouldn’t be sitting in ya father’s living room for the second time.” Ream tucked his phone and looked Debo in the eyes.

“I guess.” Debo muttered looking defeated.

“You guess? Nigga you ain’t no bitch! Speak the fuck up, don’t try to act like you ain’t excited cause I’m standing here. Yo dumb ass was still finding ways to be on bullshit after I told you that you were done with that street shit. Give these niggas an answer then dismiss yourself. I need to talk to Ream about my daughter.” Beast looked at Debo as he nodded his head and smiled. Nigga didn’t have it all either but I didn’t give a fuck. I was gone put this nigga to work and make his ass go to school at the same time. He might’ve thought he was being placed into the big leagues and had a free pass. When I got finished with the nigga, he would just stick to finishing school and finding a real job. If he could truly hang then maybe he would be moved up working on my level in a couple of years. Something in Debo eyes screamed that all of this shit was a thrill and when it was over he wouldn’t want shit else to do with this kind of life.

After telling Debo where he could meet me at in a couple of days to get started he walked out of the room as Beast placed his eyes on Ream. Ream was a bold ass nigga and I was more surprised at the measures he was taking to make it clear how bad he wanted Reaper.

“I don’t need a speech about what your intentions are with my daughter. She is my firstborn and she inherited a lot of my ways. I know my baby girl can handle herself as a grown woman now. My only message to you is watch yourself Christian Joel Powers. If my Tea turns up dead or a strand of hair missing from her head. I don’t give a fuck if she slips and fucking falls, if I find out you didn’t catch her then best believe her daddy is catching bodies on top of bodies. You and your family might be powerful but yall ain’t the only ones. I don’t make threats; I like to tell mutha fuckas what its gone be and then when they fuck up. I pop up and show and prove.”

Chapter Forty

DEBO

“Nigga you ain’t have to add that extra part with my crazy ass father-in-law.” We laughed at what Ream said as he placed the phone right next to him. I had to shake my head. My dad was one of the coldest niggas I ever knew. He had a hard time letting his kids go. Letting us grow up and experience life and the lessons that it taught us. Just imagine, you doing everything right by your kids and one ends up a stripper, the other an assassin and myself a drug dealer.

That’s what Mattea, Kachella and myself put our father through. All three of us went on a crazy journey and I so happened to be the last one out of all of us to finally get my shit together.

“Ream you still ain’t pay me back from making his hard headed ass go through school. Nigga had me taking time out of my trappin schedule to pull up on the nigga and force his ditching ass back to school.” Solo complained and I couldn’t really say shit because I gave both of these niggas a hard ass time coming up.

I wanted to do shit my way, I didn’t want no nigga telling me how or when to do some shit. I always wanted to be my own boss, that’s how I got slaughter gang started.

“You a blessed nigga, real spill. You know these other niggas out here like to tax niggas hard or kill them off once they go legit. Even when you felt like we were hard on you, it was always because we were trying to teach you with the hopes of you not wanting to do the shit. But yo hard head ass went in deeper and deeper and I’m just glad you got into this shit with us. We your family and niggas will always have your back a hundred percent, even when you wrong.”
