“People you love?” I query.

“I love you, Jenna. I didn’t know my life would change forever when you walked into that bar in Vegas. But now I can’t picture my life without you in it. Wherever you are, I want to be with you. I don’t care where that is.”

“I love you too, Ty,” I say softly.

He leans in and kisses me. “I just want to be where you are.”

I love this man.

“What’s the chaos plan?” he says as he sips his mug and sets it back down to snuggle back into me.

“Apparently we’ve developed some new Christmas traditions,” I say with a grin.

“Oh?”

“Mornings are spent at everyone’s own houses eating cinnamon rolls. Then everyone comes to the lodge for Christmas lunch. Which I already made a few things yesterday and left them in the fridge at the lodge.”

He nods seriously. “Sounds fun.”

“Then, tonight we all do a bonfire.”

“I’m listening,” he says as he kisses his way down my neck.

“And sleigh rides.” I sigh at his kisses in contentment.

He blinks up at me. “There are actual sleigh rides?”

“Tucker restored a sleigh. Wait until you see it. It’s his pride and joy.”

“I figured that only happened in Hallmark movies,” he teases.

I nudge his shoulder. “I feel like we’re living in a Hallmark movie.”

He smiles into my neck again. “I could do a sleigh ride with you.”

Silence settles between us, and it’s comfortable and easy.

Ty sits back, watches the snow outside, and sips his coffee.

Then, he murmurs, “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure,” I say as I grab my own mug.

He turns toward me. “Do you see yourself living here?”

I wait for him to continue.

He shrugs one shoulder. “In Bridger Falls, with all of these traditions, feels pretty great. I bet the rest of the year here is pretty great, too.”

“I do see myself here. And it is pretty great.”

He pauses. “With your own family someday?”

The question doesn’t scare me. A year ago, it might have. But not now after being here and meeting him.

I smile. “Yes. I don’t think I pictured it until you.”

His eyes search mine. “With me?”
