“I was dreaming.”

“Violently.”

I stripped my shirt off and tossed it toward the pile.

Mad caught it before it landed and folded it, setting it on the bench. “It’s still clean.”

Luck grinned.

I hooked my thumbs into the waistband of my pants and panties, pushing them down my legs. “Better?”

“Much,” Luck breathed.

Oxi kissed my bare shoulder again. “Almost perfect, snowfire.”

I stepped out of my pants and added them to the pile before reaching behind myself to unhook my bra.

Keith watched the fabric slide down my arms. The hunger that crossed his face sent desire streaking through me.

“Now?” I asked.

Oxi’s arms tightened around my waist. “Perfect.” He stripped next. He kicked his pants away, ignoring the look Mad gave him for missing the laundry pile entirely, and climbed onto the bed.

Luck opened the blankets for us with an exaggerated flourish. “Your kingdom awaits, my beautiful woman.”

I climbed in beside him. The mattresses dipped under our combined weight, and the blankets were already warm from his body. I settled between Luck and Oxi, their skin pressing against mine from either side.

Keith joined us beside Oxi.

Mad stripped last. He folded his clothes, set them on the bench, checked the latch on the door one more time, and finally climbed into bed beside Luck.

Keith’s fingers brushed over my arm. “You cold?”

“With you four?” I shifted closer to Oxi while hooking one leg over Luck’s. “Not even a little.”

“Good.”

Luck tucked the blanket higher around us. “We survived another day without dying. I call that a win.”

“The bar is so low,” I teased.

“In the apocalypse, it’s realistic,” Mad replied.

“We also completed patrol without encountering a single infected,” Keith added.

Luck lifted his head. “I encountered one.”

“That was a tree stump.”

“I thought it was infected.”

“It was covered in moss.”

“Suspicious moss.”

Oxi groaned. “I still cannot believe you fired at a tree stump.”

Luck blushed. Mad’s chest rumbled with a quiet laugh. I smiled into Luck’s shoulder.
