“It appears, my friends, that we have a defective product. And we always guarantee you’ll be satisfied,” Dominic purrs, loud enough to be heard by the microphone. His voice drips dark promise, a sensuality that can’t be denied.

It’s met with laughter, cheers, and a level of anticipation even I can feel in the air. I don’t look away from the kid. It feels necessary for me to serve as a witness to what’s coming. Only… Dominic throws me off, forcing my attention to him.

“If he won’t react to this, let’s see how he takes being fucked. If that doesn’t work, then we’ll end him. Go ahead, Luca, you deserve this treat,” Dominic croons as he flicks his fingers toward me.

Horror fills me, but the challenge is there. It can’t be denied. As is the silent reminder in Dominic’s eyes about compliance. I’m sure he wouldn’t have a problem “correcting” me publicly. Likely in the same way he’s demanding me to ruin an innocent. I did that once before on someone’s orders and live with the guilt. Am I going to do it again? Just to save myself?

I reach down for the kid and realize that there’s no other option. There’s no way to abscond with him. Even if I did, so many would still be facing the same bitter consequence from these Martellis. Although, fuck if they should be allowed to have any ownership of that name. They don’t fucking deserve it…

Once the kid is in my arms, I head over to the spanking bench. I’m far more familiar with that than the St. Andrew’s Cross, since Allesandro preferred manacles for the most part. Another man steps forward to help me buckle the kid in. Even from behind, he looks so much like Lio…

I clench my hands into fists before relaxing them. Thankfully, there’s lube near the bench. I know better than to prep the merchandise, but at least this way I can more easily stroke myself to hardness. Fuck knows nothing about this is sexy to me.

I free my cock, liberally using lube as I pretend it’s someone else in front of me. Maybe Teo. I wouldn’t be opposed to that. Fuck knows I could use him as a receptacle to take my anger out.

Keeping that picture in my head, I force myself into the kid whose body struggles to take me. Yet, there’s no scream, no cries. It tears me to pieces, but I grit my teeth, fucking him hard and rough, even as I imagine it’s Teo.

Only, it’s not possible to keep him in my mind. The kid is there no matter what, and I beg him silently, wishing he could fucking hear me, Please, fucking react. Don’t make me add more sins to the blackness of my soul…

I don’t come, but since I soften, I pretend I do. Quickly, I tuck myself in and turn toward Dominic and Teo. I hope they don’t investigate it, that they fall for the lie. If they don’t, it’s not just his life on the line…

“Hmm, there’s something to be said about someone who will just lay there and take it,” Dominic throws out. “But let’s put it to the audience. Keep or toss?”

The shouts of toss smother any that call for him to be kept and this time it’s Teo’s voice that condemns me. “As you wish. Luca, show them what we do when merchandise doesn’t work. And then, let’s get the good ones out here!”

The crowd goes nuts as I pull out my gun, and for a moment, I waver. I wonder just how many I can take down before they kill me. But all it takes is the reminder of what Allesandro asked, that I get rid of this evil, that has me ready to add more darkness to my heart.

I put the gun to the kid’s head. It’s impossible not to see Lio, and as I pull the trigger, my heart races. My hand trembles just slightly, although my aim is true.

I betrayed one Lio. And I killed another.

Quickly, I put the gun away, not needing the temptation when Dominic and Teo are on the stage. I meet each one’s smug stare with one filled with cold hate. I finally figured out what Allesandro meant…

The cold will sustain me in a way the heat never would. And it’ll be the cold that eventually lets me set fire to this entire Organization.

Fuck these false Martellis. They deserve nothing but death.

The auction is brutal. Not for the reasons one may think, though. The actual auction itself goes off fine, selling our high-valued merchandise easily, while also getting offers on rentals for the weekend.

No, it’s not the job itself that’s hard, but the fact any goodwill and trust between Luca and I has been obliterated. I could feel his burning gaze from off stage as I helped Dominic parade our wares to the audience. Some more willing than others, and to the delight of Dominic, and our clientele, we even got to use the cross on one of the more unruly ones.

Though there was no pleasure in whipping them. Their screams didn’t get me hard like Luca’s once did. Their tears didn’t move me, and even when I drew blood, all I felt was numb.

Still, I did what was expected of me. I put on a show, and all I can do is hope that was enough for Sergio to give me more of a chance.

By the time the night is over with, I’m exhausted, physically and mentally.

We climb into the limo, Luca tries to sit in the seat opposite us, but Dominic grabs him, holding him by the throat and shoving him to the carpet.

My heart pounds, and my throat dries up as I watch, helpless to do anything but let this play out because at least he waited until everything was over. It very well could have been Luca tied to the cross, or any of the other apparatuses in the back room. That he didn’t…means he wants this to just be us. Which is honestly just as bad—maybe even more dangerous—than if he addressed the issue with others around.

Dominic tilts his head, and I slide to the floor, the limo just big enough for me to crowd behind Luca. It’s not comfortable at all, with my back hitting the edge of the seat, but it will do, especially with the way I can lean forward and press myself against Luca’s back, my cock rubbing against his ass as Dominic pushes him into me.

“Did you think we wouldn’t notice, bunny?” Dominic’s voice is dark and my cock hardens in the fucked-up Pavlovian response it’s been conditioned to.

Luca jerks, trying to escape us, but I wrap my arms around him and hold him tightly. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

I chuckle, though it’s not a nice feeling. “We know what you sound like when you come, bunny. We had a front row seat not too long ago…did you think we wouldn’t notice you faked it?”
