Now Mari was blushing along with Titan. He said, “Geez, Jaeda. You’re getting as bad as Remy. I think he’s a bad influence on you.”

“He does his best,” she said. “He’ll be happy to know he’s succeeding.”

Mari said, “I want to see what they have.” She’d never actually seen a sex toy before. And now that she and Titan were having sex…

Titan rolled his eyes. “Then I for sure need to put some pants on. Thank the gods I left some in the mudroom.”

Chapter 21

Titan walked Mari downstairs, suddenly feeling self-conscious about being naked, which he usually never was.

But all Mari had to do was smile at him and he got instantly hard, and that was the last thing he wanted in front of the whole crew.

On the other hand, he couldn’t leave her alone with them either. Especially because the first thing that happened when they walked into the great room was that Colt looked her up and down and said to Remy, “She is wearing clothes. You owe me ten bucks.” He held out his hand.

Remy said, “Fine, so I picked the wrong one to be naked.” He pulled out his money clip and peeled off a ten for Colt.

Titan ducked into the mudroom and grabbed a pair of pants, shimmying into them and heading back inside before Mari could be too intimidated. Almost everyone was there except Brandon and Brock. Damien and Lila were just coming down the stairs.

They were a lot to handle all at one time, and right now they were all staring at Mari. He put his hand at the base of her neck so she wouldn’t feel alone.

She turned to him and whispered, “Do I have chocolate on my face or something?”

“No,” he said in his normal voice. “They’re all just rude.”

“No we’re not,” Callie said.

“Yes we are,” said Colt.

“Sorry, Mari,” Callie said, and introduced herself and Colt. “We’re just interested because we don’t get a lot of new people in here.”

Kitty added, “We’ve just been talking about you for, like, days. Wondering what you’re like. Hoping we’d get to meet you.”

Mari said, “I’m really not very interesting.”

Colt said, “Are you kidding? You’re the first girl that Squatch has ever gone out with.”

“Or boinked,” Remy said. “We’re wondering if it’s true that polar bear dick bones are deteriorating due to pollution, and they can’t, you know.” He raised his index finger and then curled it down slowly like a dick going limp.

Jaeda elbowed him. “Shut up.” She said to Mari, “Pay no attention to them. They’re nothing but trouble.” Remy blew her a kiss.

Mari suddenly got that wicked glint in her eyes.

Uh oh. Here goes, he thought, and just settled back to see what she’d say.

Mari said breathlessly to Colt and Remy, “Oh, wait, I know! You’re the dick fairies!” The crew snorted with laughter. She added, “You brought me substitutes, just in case of a polar bear problem. You’re so sweet.”

The twins looked suspiciously at each other. Wait for it, Titan thought.

Mari frowned. “Only, they’re so… small. Compared to what I’m used to.” She smiled at Titan, and then looked innocently at the twins. “But I guess leopards are…” She held up her finger the way Colt had done, except hers was the pinkie.

She turned to Jaeda and Callie. “You poor things. But I suppose love compensates for a lot.”

The twins’ mates were biting their lips to keep from laughing, but the lions were flat out losing it, and so was Kitty. In fact, Brandon came into the kitchen with Brock just in time to keep her from falling off the kitchen island.

Brandon was shaking his head, but Titan could see the grin he was hiding. “So, welcome to Wild Blood territory,” he said, shaking hands with Mari. “Where the crew has no tact and every fucking thing out of their mouths is sexual. Especially those two.” He indicated the twins.

“Us too,” Callie said, gesturing to herself and Jaeda and looking offended at being left out.
