“Oh, God, wonderful.” The ache inside was beginning to spiral, closer and closer with every thrust. Yule’s movements reached a steady rhythm, neither fast nor slow, but enough to keep her winding slowly toward that ultimate explosion.

“I’m going to touch you now, sweetheart.” Even as he spoke, Yule’s hand slid beneath them, again brushing the sensitive little nub above her opening.

“Ahh.” The immediate jolt made her shudder, although she didn’t tip over into the ultimate pleasure. Lord, she was close though. Her body seemed to hum with energy that was working toward a release of monumental proportions.

Yule stroked deeply, his cock pounding into her, bringing her closer and closer to the edge. Then his fingers pressed firmly on her nub and her body convulsed around him.

Penelope threw back her head, crying out his name as wave upon wave of immeasurable pleasure crashed over her. Her body danced to its own rhythm now, although Yule still pumped into her, once, twice more until he bellowed her name and strained against her, his hot essence pouring forth deep inside her.

Panting together, Yule leaned against her as Penelope’s legs threatened to buckle. She let the chair hold them both up until Yule guided them to the bed, lifted her into it, then followed after. They crawled under the covers and snuggled together. Penelope was so completely sated, she could scarcely keep her eyes open.

Still one question nagged at her. “Yule?”

“Hmm?” He sounded asleep as well.

“You told me the Archbishop is ill and can’t issue a special license for at least a week. So we can’t get married immediately. Yet you wanted us to make love again today and often, you said, until we are married.” She cocked an eyebrow at him. “Isn’t that dangerous?”

Her question had roused him, and he settled himself with one arm behind his head. “It would be most dangerous if we were not going to be married until June as your mother originally decreed. However, as she is now considering moving the wedding up to three weeks from the time the first banns were read, which was last Sunday—” He leaned over and kissed her soundly on the lips. “—I realized if you are now carrying our child, I don’t care what the ton thinks about the baby coming early. What matters is that we can love one another as much as we wish, as often as we can. So the busybodies can go hang.” He pulled Penelope to him and wrapped his arms around her. “You are the most important thing in my life now, sweetheart. Nothing can take you away from me.”

“Or you from me.” Penelope snuggled closer to him. “’Til death do us part.”
